Though the Warriors essentially let the 87ers take Hobson away, they could have, nevertheless, still invited him to NBA training camp had they wanted to. Instead, RidiculousUpside.com has learned exclusively that two of his Santa Cruz teammates (Cameron Jones and Scott Machado) are expected to be in camp instead. What's more, Stephen Curry's little brother, Seth, is expected to be in town for that as well. Needless to say, Hobson wasn't at all too pleased about that. Ridiculous Upside
After being crowned this past season's NBADL "Most Improved Player" for and helping the Warriors to an NBA Summer League title in July, RidiculousUpside.com has learned that Cameron Jones will spend training camp in Golden State. Ridiculous Upside
Jones has made strides since first coming up as a sharpshooting rookie with Fort Wayne Mad Ants. Spending his sophomore campaign in Santa Cruz, the guard also proved he could be a steady defender and put the ball on the floor in order to take it to the hole if necessary. He's certainly more offensively versatile than he first appears. In any event, the progress Jones continues to make appears to be paying off. Clearly on Golden State's radar, Jones will attend training camp with his D-League team's NBA affiliate, RidiculousUpside.com has learned. Ridiculous Upside
