Ohio State forward/center Dallas Lauderdale (6-9, 265) has hired Cleveland agent Mark Termini. The Solon High School product is not expected to be drafted, but he has a shot at sticking with an NBA club via free agency. He recently averaged 6.6 points and 7.0 rebounds in three games at the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament. Lauderdale's 7-6 1/4 wingspan and 32-inch standing vertical jump has caught the attention of several teams. He also measured 6-9 in his shoes. Numerous NBA scouts believe he could land on an NBA roster spot as a backup center or power forward due to his length, athleticism and shot-blocking ability. He will begin workouts in Las Vegas with the Joe Abunassar Impact Basketball program next week. Morning Journal
