During the free agency period, did you talk to DeMarcus [Cousins] and Rudy [Gay] much? Isaiah Thomas: I didn't. I didn't actually talk to nobody. Just went silent? Isaiah Thomas: They didn't reach out to me. They only reached out when I signed my deal so I mean I had a feeling, I kind of knew I wasn't coming back. Other than coming back for Mike Malone, I didn't think nobody really wanted me, like they wanted Darren Collison. Not like that, but I mean, they picked Darren Collison the second day of free agency. He's a good player; I hope the best for him and the Sacramento Kings, honestly. Sactown Royalty

As the second day of NBA free agency moved along Tuesday, the Clippers had not made any moves yet to improve their team. The Clippers had called point guard Darren Collison on Monday night, when NBA teams were first allowed to talk to free agents, but no deal has been reached, and there were no conversations with his representatives Tuesday, according to NBA officials who were not authorized to speak publicly on the matter. Collison is an unrestricted free agent, having opted out of a contract that would have paid him $1.9 million next season. Los Angeles Times

The Clippers coach and president of basketball operations will make the final decision on all things Clippers and is the one who, without mentioning Darren Collison by name, made it known that his free-agent point guard is priority No. 1. Collison, who opted out of the contract that would have paid him $1.985 million next season, probably will learn that his representatives were the first people Rivers called when the NBA's free-agency period started at 9:01 p.m. Pacific time Monday. "You know our first guy, I'll be honest, is one of our guys that opted out," Rivers said. "He's a little guy. That's very important for us." Los Angeles Times
