Jerry Zgoda: BTW, Wolves 2010 draft pick Nemanja Bjelica today named Euroleague MVP. Could take full MLE to sign him, a possible complicating factor. Serious question (not trolling) for Euroleague followers: Is Bjelica better than Robbie Hummel? Or maybe rather, by how much better? Twitter @JerryZgoda

Is there any chance that you play (in Philadelphia) next season? Dario Saric: Next season? I don't know and I can't speak about that because I don't know yet the situation, how things are going to work out. I can say that I'm happy here at Efes and I'm also happy that people from Philadelphia came here and want me there. That's all I can tell you right now. I don't have any information or any feeling regarding what could happen. I'm just focused on the rest of the season. If I stay here or if I go to the NBA, I will be happy (either way). I don't know what could happen this summer or next summer. Now it's not the time to talk about that. HoopsHype

He says he is making $1.85 million -- a ``net'' deal, which means Fenerbahce is also covering his taxes, housing and car, as well as the needs of his fiancée and their one year old son, Andrew Jr. They are not taking for granted their happiness as a family or his success as an emerging player. ``A lot of guys don't understand that you are playing basketball for a short window,'' Goudelock says. ``You do what you need to do in your time. You can't be sitting around waiting for the NBA, because they know you're waiting for them ... as much as I want to be there, I can't be falling for the bait.'' NBA.com

He knows how the semifinal in Madrid is shaping up. Both teams have former and future NBA players. Goudelock will find himself matched up against Rudy Fernandez and Sergio Llull. If the game is tight at the end, the ball is going to be in Goudelock's hands. He will try to replace the mighty noise with a calming, intensifying silence. He will have to trust his instincts. He will need to believe in the teachings of Kobe. ``The rules are different here, everything is so much different -- the big games are almost like a stalemate where you're beating each other up, so it comes down to who is executing down the stretch and hitting the big shots,'' Goudelock says. NBA.com

At the end of his first month, after he had made half of his four threes while generating 12 points and three assists in a big win at Charlotte, Goudelock walked into the locker room to hear Matt Barnes and Luke Walton talking. ``They were saying, `He sure does like to shoot,''' Goudelock recalls. ``I'm like, `What are y'all talking about?' They were laughing, they said, `You know who we're talking about. We're talking about you.' ``And then Kobe was like, `We're going to call you the Mini-Mamba.' So that was a great moment for me.'' The Minnesota Timberwolves are very interested in bringing Nemanja Bjelica to the NBA for next season and the player is willing to join the team, sources told Sportando. Bjelica was selected with 35th pick in 2010 NBA draft and he's represented by Arn Tellem of Wasserman Media Group. Sportando

Bjelica has a three-year deal with Fenerbahce but there's an NBA opt-out for this summer, the buyout is worth 1.2 mln euros. A source with knowledge of the situation told Sportando: "He'll go to the NBA next season. If T'Wolves keep his rights, they will get him". Sportando

With Jordan Crawford headed to China, the most marketable free agent remaining is Ray Allen, who is still trying to determine whether he wants to play this season. Several teams are interested, including Cleveland, Washington, Chicago, and the Los Angeles Clippers. One free agent to watch is former Fenerbahce Ulker guard Bo McCalebb, who helped Fenerbahce beat the Celtics in an exhibition game in 2012 in Istanbul. McCalebb had originally chosen to stay overseas because of a lucrative contract but has decided to give the NBA a shot. He could be a quality backup point guard . Boston Globe
