Russell Westbrook became the latest player to get tagged with a warning for violating the league’s anti-flopping rules, for this play that occurred during his team’s loss to the Clippers. Westbrook flailed and attempted to exaggerate contact on a three-point attempt, when there didn’t appear to be much contact at all. NBCSports.com

At one point during the Warriors’ easy win over the Clippers on Sunday, Glen Davis flopped (and flopped hard) after receiving a slight bit of contact in the chin from Leandro Barbosa. The announcers laughed at the replay, because it was just so ridiculous. But perhaps an even greater embarrassment came a couple of days later, when Barbosa tweeted the clip of the flop himself. It seems as though fooling the officials into calling a foul when there wasn’t one is among the criteria the league looks at when deciding to crack down. J.J. Redick and Andre Drummond are the latest to receive warnings, and in both cases, fouls were called when the contact appeared to have been exaggerated. NBCSports.com

P.J. Hairston scored 11 points in the Hornets’ loss to the visiting Spurs on Wednesday night. Hairston gave it everything he had in his 21 minutes of action, including this incredible flop where he drew slight contact from Tony Parker at the free throw line and threw his body backwards like he had been shot in the stomach with a cannonball. Indiana Pacers guard C.J. Watson has been fined $5,000 by the NBA for violating the league’s anti-flopping rules for the second time this season.
