Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Greek federation and Milwaukee Bucks agreed in a formula that seems to be a win-win situation for every one involved. The Greek forward will not be a member of the Greek U20 national team in the upcoming Eurobasket, which will be held at the island of Crete between 8 and 20 of July, in order to play in the Las Vegas Summer League with the Bucks at the 11th of July. Sportando interviewed the Greek young talent of Aris Thessaloniki Lefteris Bochoridis. The young player seems very convinced to be able to get attentions of the Americans GM at the next NBA draft. Bochoridis played his entire career with Aris Thessaloniki, is considered the new Diamantidis and shows us a great confidence in his own value, built with hard-work. In Greece many people consider you as the new Diamantidis. What is your feeling about that ? First of all, it's a great honor that some people believe this. I feel proud that they compare me with this amazing player and I want through hard-working to prove them that one day in future I can be a successful player like him. Sportando

The 20 games ban of Nick Calathes was a shock for the Greek basketball federation, still there’s full support towards the Greek-American guard. On Saturday Kostas Missas, a member of the Greek federation coaching stuff, contacted the player, who gave his side of the story and once more clarified the fact that he never used synthetic testosterone or performance-enhancing drugs. However, Tamoxifen which was detected in Calathes’ samples is banned also from the International Olympic Committee, so the player should have been much more careful. The point is that the ban of Calathes is imposed to the NBA and has to do only with NBA games. There’s no cooperation between the NBA and WADA and until further notice the player is eligible for the upcoming FIBA World Cup. EuroHoops.net

The 10th signing of a non Greek player this season in Olympiacos is going to be the biggest, if completed. The defending Euroleague champions have decided to boost their roster for the almost certain Greek league finals against Panathinaikos and the player they want to add is Bobby Brown. The 29years old American guard was Euroleague’s top scorer last season as a member of Siena – having almost 19 point per game – and he recently concluded his season in the Chinese CBA. EuroHoops.net
