The Nets are the only team to schedule Sapara to this point, but he has been tabbed as an alternate workout for the Knicks if someone pulls out according to Bass. Echenique, who played for Dan Hurley at St. Benedict’s Prep, was slated to work out for the Portland Trail Blazers today (Friday) and with the Washington Wizards June 3. “I think the Blazers was my best workout yet,” Echenique told SNY.tv. “I thought I played hard and finished well every time I had the ball. I got some good feedback from the staff. As for the Nets, I’m glad that more and more teams are giving me the opportunity to play in front of them and show what I can bring to the table. The Trail Blazers continued their search for second-round NBA Draft talent on Friday, when they hosted their second round of predraft workouts at the practice facility in Tualatin. The prospects included: Grant Jerrett, a 6-foot-10 forward from Arizona; Brandon Triche, a 6-4 guard from Syracuse; D.J.
