Lebanon is the resurrection for Hassan Whiteside. After the waste of talent he showed in NBA and problems with injuries, this season Whiteside is absolutely dominating in Lebanon. His team Al Moutahed Tripoli is fifth in Lebanese League with a 11-6 record. Whiteside's leading all Asia in rebounds, blocks and evaluation. His numbers are huge: 21.8 points, 15.4 rebounds, 4.1 blocks and 33.4 in evaluation. Quite simple to imagine that next summer he will receive many offers. Sportando

Though one Internet report today listed the Heat among teams interested in journeyman center Hassan Whiteside, his agent said tonight that the Heat has shown no interest this offseason in Whiteside, who auditioned for the Heat last summer before Miami opted for Josh Harrelson instead. Former LSU center Justin Hamilton, the Heat’s 2012 second-round pick, continues to work out with the Heat. Miami Herald

The Rockets drafted Parsons with the 38th pick in 2012 and signed him to a four-year that guaranteed Houston could keep him with a salary under $1 million in each of those four seasons. It wasn’t the first four-year deal for a second-round pick, but as Parsons emerged into a well-rounded NBA starter, it quickly became the most famous-slash-infamous of such deals. Cap experts and union officials estimate that about a half-dozen second-round picks have received four-year deals in the last half-decade, and Houston helped pioneer the process before Parsons in deals for Chase Budinger, Joey Dorsey, and Jermaine Taylor. (The Spurs also did this with DeJuan Blair, as did the Kings with Hassan Whiteside.) ESPN.com

The Heat concluded a several-day audition of former Kings center Hassan Whiteside and will decide whether to sign him, Josh Harrellson or neither. So far, Miami passed on auditioning former Nuggets center Chris “Birdman” Andersen, who would love to play here, or older veterans such as Mehmet Okur. Miami Herald

Free-agent center Hassan Whiteside worked out in Miami on Tuesday, but his agent said the Wolves remain "very much in the mix" to sign the 7-foot shotblocker. Agent Brian Samuels said a "few" other teams are interested in working out his client. At this point, the question probably is what team is willing to give him guaranteed money and how much? The Wolves still have two roster spots to fill if they carry the maximum 15 players. Minneapolis Star-Tribune
