Adrian Wojnarowski: San Antoino is waiving Austin Daye, clearing the way to sign JaMychal Green to a 10-day contract, league source tells Yahoo. Twitter @WojYahooNBA

In the past week, Daye has gone from starting three consecutive games, to the inactive list, to waived completely. Green, who has also played overseas since his final collegiate season in 2012, starred for the Spurs’ Summer League squad in Las Vegas each of the past two seasons and was one of their final cuts at training camp in the fall. After waiving Daye, the Spurs will be obligated to pay what is left of his $1.063 million contract. San Antonio Express-News

JaMychal Green, Austin Spurs, F, 6-9, 220 pounds: "He is the MVP of the D-League so far. He can rebound and he can spread the floor. He's a jump shooter who can knock down the 12- 15-footer and is a consistent rebounder." 3. Seth Curry, Erie Bay Hawks, G, 6-1, 180 pounds: "He is the D-League's best shooter. He is a combo guard who plays primarily off the ball. He lacks quickness, but makes up with it with his savvy style." Yahoo! Sports
