The upcoming NBA draft is light on international prospects, but that could be good news for French shooting guard Evan Fournier. The 19 -year-old, one of the top European players in the draft, is trying to show he is worthy of being a first-round selection June 28. He made a stop at the Cousins Center on Saturday to take part in a four-guard Milwaukee Bucks workout that also featured Memphis' Will Barton, Temple's Ramone Moore and Long Beach State's Larry Anderson. Ramone Moore changed his mind. After a conference call Saturday with family members and his mentor, the Temple shooting guard decided not to file paperwork to enter the NBA draft. The previous day, the 6-foot-4 redshirt junior had told The Inquirer that he would apply for the draft. "It was basically a family decision," Moore said in a statement about changing his mind. "We talked it over this morning and I realized that my main focus was to stay in school, earn my degree, and play my senior year at Temple." Philadelphia Inquirer

According to a source, Moore "decided to enter his senior year at Temple without any distractions. He didn't want to make coach Fran Dunphy mad. "He didn't want to make it seem all about him and his dream to make it in the NBA. That would have distracted from the team and the team's goal." Philadelphia Inquirer

It’s amazing how so much can change in just a matter of hours. Temple fans can breathe easy. Ramone Moore has changed his mind and will not be filling out paperwork to enter the NBA draft. Moore confirmed via text message that he would not be entering the NBA draft. “I care a lot for Temple’s basketball program, my teammates, and especially the fans,” Moore said. “I want to leave a legacy before I move on to the next stage of my career, and the best way I know how to do that is by staying another year and helping to bring the A-10 title home where it belongs.” CSNPhilly.com
