He said some teams are only a few pieces away sometimes. "They're on the right track, but they are two big pieces away or three to four nice pieces away," O'Neal said. "For us in Orlando, we had three big pieces in 3 years: me first, Penny [Hardaway] the second year and then Horace Grant the third. That would be similar to what Miami did when they had Dwyane Wade, having a big three. In Philly, you have [Nerlens Noel], who's going to do great on defense; the young guard Michael Carter-Williams, he's playing well. Now you need one or two more role-playing pieces, so you can start to build like [the Oklahoma City Thunder] did." Philadelphia Inquirer

A lot of you may remember Shaq Fu as the so-bad-it-was-good Super Nintendo game that came out in 1994. While not too many people actually played the game, Shaq Fu has managed to live on in 90s-nostalgia-fueled infamy. And now, 20 years later, Shaq Fu is BACK. Some video game developers announced that they were building Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn a while back and I’ll be the first to admit I thought it was a Funny or Die video or something. Turns out it was real, though, and the gang raised over $450,000 in a 60-day Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign to make it happen. For The Win

You can’t skate through (expletive).” For The Win

Shaquille O'Neal is the subject of an open assault investigation by police in Atlanta after an incident his lawyer described as "horseplay" in which a co-worker was injured last year. No charges have been filed by local police over the event, which according to a police report is alleged to have occurred May 9 and first reported to police July 2. According to Robert Williams, a co-worker of O'Neal's at Turner Studios, for whom O'Neal is an NBA analyst, the 15-time All-Star "ran out of a room and hit me with a tackle punch to the back knocking me down and falling on top of me injuring my neck and back," the police report says. Williams said Turner Security was made aware of the incident within a day. "The investigation was initially handled by the zone and as that investigation deepened, it was transferred (to) the complex case squad," Atlanta police Sgt. Greg Lyon said, according to WSB TV in Atlanta. "At the conclusion of their investigation, we'll have their findings and we'll go forth from there, whether charges will be filed, whether it (will) be reviewed by the DA's Office." ESPN.com
