Doug McDermott and Victor Oladipo are among the 13 players named to the USA Basketball Select team that will practice against the group headed to the World Cup in Spain. Team USA unveiled roster on Tuesday. It includes McDermott, the sharp-shooting forward from Creighton who was drafted by the Chicago Bulls, and Oladipo, the second-year guard from the Orlando Magic. It appears Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard, the 2014 NBA Finals MVP, has withdrawn from the Team USA training camp at which the team that will represent the United States in the FIBA World Cup tournament will be selected. Sources familiar with USA Basketball’s plans for the camp, scheduled to begin in Las Vegas on July 28, said the Spurs forward has not yet given a firm commitment to participate in the camp and may be pulling out. USA Basketball is to issue a press release on Monday about the players who will be at the camp. San Antonio Express-News
