One source at Valencia Basket shot down reports from Turkey that they are pursuing Magic forward Hidayet Turkoglu. Valencia has been linked in the past few days to players such as Corey Brewer or Maurice Evans, but nothing is happening. The Spanish club is not interested in players that would ask for an NBA out, the source told HoopsHype’s Raul Barrigon.

There’s no gray area for interpretation. It’s just a typical European contract.”
Caja Laboral announced the arrival of Reggie Williams for the upcoming season with an NBA out. The guard, who is restricted free agent, will earn $1.5M per season with the Basque team. Williams, guard, has played two seasons in the NBA with Golden State Warriors averaging 10.6ppg, 3.1rpg and 1.8apg in 104 games.
“While Reggie’s dream of playing in the NBA is our primary focus, we think playing in the ACB will put him in a situation to be a sought-after free agent upon his return from Spain,” said Ron Shade, who represents Williams along with agent Herb Rudoy.
Golden State Warriors free-agent forward Reggie Williams has signed a one-year, $1.5 million contract with Caja Laboral Vitoria of the Spanish ACB League, Williams’ agent told Yahoo! Sports. There’s a team that would open the doors to the forward. It was at Biella where he played with only 20 years and where he played two seasons before jumping to the NBA and that club will probably be the one that ends signing Jerebko. Cajasol would have wanted him, even with the risk of another Achilles tendon injury, but they said no to the opt-out clause to escape to the NBA, something which Biella has no problem with.
Also, unexpected proposals have been made to Cajasol. A recent example is Jonas Jerebko, a young, 24-year-old, 6-10 Sweden player who has played with the Detroit Pistons the last two seasons.
Another NBA signing for Asefa Estudiantes who landed Cedric Simmons for the next two years. The big man, selected by Thunder with the 15th overall in the 2006 NBA draft, has played 75 games in NBA averaging 2.2ppg and 1.9rpg.
