David Falk Rumors

The consensus among many NBA front office officials was that Monroe wouldn’t be with the Bucks when they report to training camp later this month — even if they couldn’t get fair market value for the big man. But with training camp less than two weeks away, Monroe is still on the Bucks’ payroll. While that is shocking to many NBA officials, agent David Falk, who represents Monroe, insists he isn’t surprised his client is still with the Bucks. “There’s been a lot of speculation, but that’s part and parcel for the NBA,’’ Falk said. “You always have rumors and one percent of them come true.’’ Falk added, “I’ve become a cynic to rumors.’’
Falk said he’s been in constant contact with Bucks officials about Monroe’s situation and that the Bucks owners “have been amazingly supportive of Greg.’’ Furthermore, Falk revealed Monroe recently spent time with Greg Foster, a Bucks’ assistant coach, at a camp in Florida. Falk also dismissed speculation he or Monroe have lobbied to get Monroe out of Milwaukee. “Greg is a very mature guy, a very professional guy,’’ Falk said. “He has never asked to be traded on any team.’’
