Mark Bartelstein Rumors
Mark Bartelstein, Novak’s longtime agent from Chicago, made it abundantly clear Saturday that his client is focused on staying with the Bucks. “There have been a few teams that we’ve talked to; you always got to keep your doors open,’’ Bartelstein said. “But we’re still talking with the Bucks and, hopefully, we’ll make a deal with them. “Steve would love to stay in Milwaukee. It’s a very special place for him.’’
General manager “R.C [Buford] and coach [Gregg] Popovich put a lot of time and energy to give David a visual of how much they wanted him and would use him,” Bartelstein told The Vertical. “A lot of people talk about taking less money, and not many people do it, so the Spurs get a lot of credit for selling David on joining their organization.”
Restricted free agent big man Miles Plumlee is re-signing with the Milwaukee Bucks, according to his agent. Chicago-based Mark Bartelstein told ESPN.com on Monday that Plumlee and the Bucks have come to terms on a four-year deal worth $52 million.
