Some rumor of shots fired near the arena....
This can't be good...people are running BACK INTO THE ARENA.
Correction, I scored 117-110 for Mayweather, forgot the point deduction.
Decision is in.
Floyd the human being may be despicable but the boxer is unparalleled
I gave Maidana rounds four, six and 12. Mayweather won the other nine rounds.
Final bell. I scored it 117-111 for Mayweather.
Mayweather giving away the 12th so far, fans booing, but he doesn't have to take a chance here.
To those asking how you bite with a mouthpiece in, you put something in your mouth and bite. Get a clue.
Maidana pushes Mayweather backward to the mat. Point deduction. About time. Dirty fighter. Period.
Absolutely no question about that bite. Here it is in super-slow-mo. No question at all.
We biting out here?
Mayweather glaring at Maidana. Telling him to get it together because he's in with a boss, basically.
Mayweather complaining Maidana did something to his left hand. Really going at him verbally. Bayless checking glove, goes to corner.
Excellent right by Maidana. A reminder not to relax.
I have Mayweather 68-65 through seven rounds.
The office. http://t.co/wuMq44lxzw
Floyd looks winded...like tired, surprisingly
I thought the sixth was the first difficult round to score. Could go either way. I have FM 4-2 but could be 5-1.
Mayweather does very little in a lukewarm sixth. Maidana didn't either but he forced what little action there was, his round, 58-56.
And we begin round 18.
Mayweather dominates the fifth, and the fight so far, 49-46.
Mayweather just beating this guy to the punch, whacking him all over.
Maidana can't touch Floyd in the center of the ring. No reach
When this fight is in mid-ring, Maidana looks like he doesn't belong.
Nice cross set up by the Mayweather jab early in the fifth.
Or taken something from his legs. Mayweather not doing much bouncing after that
That power shot to the third might've taken a lot out of Floyd
Right uppercut by Mayweather knocks Maidana backwards but the fourth goes to Chino on my card, 39-37 Mayweather.
Maidana gets Mayweather to the ropes and lets fly. That's his best moment yet. Nothing meaningful but he got there.
Two nice rights by Mayweather. This is turning into a sparring session early.
Mayweather's starting to drop the right now. He hypnotized Maidana with the left first.
That Mayweather internal computer is a mother...
20-18 Mayweather through two.
Mayweather good counter right. He's in total control early.
Mayweather with a nice combo, then slips a Maidana wild right and challenger falls into the ropes.
This doesn't look like the second round, it looks like the 14th, which Maidana doesn't want. But he's closing distance.
Punch stats: Mayweather 11-2 landed in an easy first round for him.
Mayweather on his bicycle. Starting this fight with much more movement. Nice hook by Mayweather on the move.
Maidana works inside for first time, misses big shot, FM ties...moments later, on ropes, Mayweather loses balance and slips.
Is it me or Mayweather vibe is totally different from the first fight?
OK, it got straightened out.
Mayweather, as promised, dressed in python skin.
Let's go Maidana vs Mayweather. Who's winning this fight?
Was that really all one song????
Holyfield, Tyson, Lewis all ringside. Could make some fights with those three.
Did this guy steal Ravi Shankar's sitar?
Baldomir, De La Hoya, Hatton, Ortiz, Cotto, Guerrero, Alvarez, Maidana. I think that's all of them. Can still do it from memory.
G. Hernandez, Manfredy, Rios, Juuko, Gerena, Vargas, Corrales, C. Hernandez, Chavez, Castillo, Castillo, Sosa, N'Dou, Gatti, Judah...
Bunting. Is. For. Losers.
Robert Hoyle gets every Floyd Mayweather fight assignment for the rest of Mayweather's career after that joke.
Correction: Julie Lederman (115-113, Bey), Robert Hoyle (119-109 Bey), Adelaide Byrd (115-113, Vazquez) score SD for BEY.
The three judges might be the only people in the world with the attention span to score that fight. But they're paid to.
Going to the cards after a lightweight title snoozefest.
Welp, I don't know how you can give Mickey Bey that "fight."
Presumably Floyd Mayweather Sr., Roger Mayweather & Rafael Garcia in corner but we'll see. RM hasn't had corner role since Cotto.
Interesting...Leonard Ellerbe won't be in the corner, a decision steeped in his absences from gym to tend to business.
I have Vazquez 3-2 through 5....which means there's a clear argument for Bey.
Vazquez's three losses are to Saul "Canelo" Alvarez twice (including in Vazquez's pro debut -- some start!) and Timothy Bradley.
Vazquez now bleeding from the nose. Bey caught him with something obviously, though I have him down 2-1 through 3.
Looks like a nice clash of heads opened the cut.
De La Rosa, gasping and wheezing, makes it through the 10th and should win this decision.
If this were a 12, Angulo would get him. Forty seconds left.
Angulo tags and hurts DLR in the ninth.
