(And good lord.)
Also: I am not running this search. But if you want to blame me for any name that comes up, I understand. I'm all-powerful.
But if you yell that you want some other name considered--and thousands or millions of you do--just go ahead and yell that to Jed York.
One point: The names you hear reported--by me or anyone--are always a small slice of what's possible. I know people will always yell, but...
That new D'Angelo
What does "broader view of the game than Singletary" mean when I describe Tomsula? Simple answer: He actually cares about the QB position.
But if Tomsula can present Baalke/York with a plan for his coordinators, he is by far the preferred candidate at this point.
There will be an interview process. Somebody from outside might blow Baalke/York away. And there are OC/DC questions about Tomsula...
Josh McDaniels and Adam Gase are two OCs the 49ers should and will consider. I'm still hearing Jim Tomsula is the #1 choice, though.
No more excuses
That boy Dame on some other stuff right now!!!!
Stop it, Dame
Stop it, Damd
Pop's gonna give Duncan the week off. He's approaching 90 minutes in 2 nights
Conversely, bad decision by Matthews to opt for step back 3. Shoulda turned the corner on Duncan
Excellent, drive-and-kick from the Oakland dude. Good decision
Here are the 4 Western Conference teams Warriors play only three times: San Antonio, Denver, Portland, Memphis.
That crazy, inept, infrequently effective offensive wildcard that is Tony Allen makes Grizzlies so much less fun to watch.
I thought Dame was about to try and dunk on everyone again
After beating Warriors, then Spurs in OT, no shame in Memphis trying to steal one at home vs. Chicago.
“there’s nothing wrong with staying small you can do big things with a small team” —jason fried
Seems unlikely Bogut will get to 65 this season. That means he won't qualify for $1.935M bonus and GSWs have a little more cash to spend.
Reminder: Andrew Bogut's 15% bonus package is tied to him playing 65+ regular-season games. He has already missed 5. Played 67 last season.
Last note for tonight to my Michigan Enemies: I said I don't care about what you WANT to hear. I do not. I've also said that a lot.
I don't know what Michigan fans think I said, and I know they all hate me because of everything n' stuff, but that's what I did say.
The Warriors are a win away from 23-3, which is the record the 72-win Chicago Bulls and Steve Kerr began with in 1995-96.
Last night during interviews, bars of CoCo were intermittently sung. Rebellious jokesters, those Warriors.
Warriors tried to play CoCo after a win on the road trip & PR who turned down volume hilariously was greeted of questions of "Who you with?"
Don Nelson to 95.7 The Game on Steve Kerr: "All of his philosophies are just perfect. Whoever saw that guy as a HC should be commended."
“be undeniably good no marketing effort or social media buzzword can be a substitute for that” —anthony volodkin
Don Nelson to 95.7 The Game on Mullin: "He's in the gym all the time anyway. He might as well coach the team. Mully would be a great coach."
Don Nelson to 95.7 The Game on Draymond Green: "Just kicks butt every night. I just love that guy."
Klay Thompson told 95.7 The Game one of his favorite Christmas gifts was a toy light saber.
Klay Thompson to 95.7 The Game: "That's crazy the West getting more great guards. Oooh."
Klay Thompson to 95.7 The Game on Rajon Rondo: "Ooh, that's a tough backcourt. A contrast of styles w/ Monta, but it's going to be unique."
Please tell me my blog has been blocked from the 49ers computer systems. Please!
Jed Fans sound exactly like those old Cohan Fans, right down to the part where they campaign to get me fired. Same guys, maybe?
Mark Jackson to be on broadcast of LeBron James' return to Miami on Christmas.
Financially, the Yorks are probably right. But in other areas...
Want a universal theory on current 49ers situation? Figuring out how to build Levi's made the Yorks believe they were untouchable.
The 49ers' great failure is not having anybody in the building who could or even wanted to mediate between Harbaugh and Baalke/York.
Major addition for them boys. One of fav PGs
Relax. My wife don't cook
Draymond Green on Jeff Van Gundy continuously naming the high price coming in restricted free agency: "That's my guy, J-V-G."
Green said he knew he was close to a triple double. But he was too tired to think about it. All his energy was spent on winning
Green on Avery Johnson: "Funny guy. Funny guy. Jalen Rose a funny guy, too. ... I see everything."
Kerr on Barnes' clutch J: "I wasn't thrilled with the possession. I'm not a fan of just iso and throw it in the post."
Kerr on Durant: "We did a good job on him in the second half. I didn't even notice him out there."
Everybody's angry. Good night.
Want to say Draymond Green has set career highs in a quarter of the games this season. Nine assists tonight.
Folks, I'm saying Westbrook vs. the World reminds me of MY normal phrase that it's Steph Curry vs. the World and that's a GOOD THING.
Iguodala +18 in 30 minutes. 7 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, really nice D.
Green 16 pts, 7-14 FG, 9 asts, 9 rebs, 1blk Ibaka 12 pts, 5-8 FG, 2 asts, 6 rebs, 3 blks
Curry 34 pts, 14-24 FG, 9 asts, 7 rebs Westbrook 33 pts, 11-30 FG, 8 asts, 3 rebs
Everybody struggles against quickness. Westbrook/Jackson combined 13 of 38
The irony of Barnes' clinching the game on Mark Jackson's favorite play: the Barnes post-up on a guard
Westbrook is 11-28 (39.3%) Rest of Thunder 28-54 (51.8%)
Curry was taking that no matter what
Refs switch call to a jump ball
Thunder down to 48.7 percent shooting. But staying close with +10 at FT line
Barnes just tossed his mask
Green playing center vs. Ibaka … Westbrook pulls OKC within a point with 5 minutes left
Going to have a tough time explaining that foul call on Green
Iguodala limps off holding his left hip.
