Gotta wait to see on Bogut in playoffs. "Indefinitely" shorter than "out," which is what GSW said about Lee last postseason. He played.
Welp. Love drops 3 3s on David Lee in 88 seconds. Maybe smallball *is* the answer?
Warriors swingman Andre Iguodala drew the short straw and had to address the crowd before the home finale -- "Fan Appreciation Night."
Bogut specified injury was to his fifth rib, right in the middle of the rib cage and next to the lung. Adds to the severity and his concern
Bogut joked that this off-season he'll have to learn how to play by avoiding any contact and that he knows players who play like that.
Bogut said he thinks he first hurt the rib vs. Denver three games ago and then it totally fractured in the hit vs. Portland last night.
He said one more violent hit could push the fractured rib and puncture his lung. Bogut is logically not too interested in that happening.
Just talked to Bogut, who does not sound like he expects to play again this season or postseason. At all.
Warriors 9-4 with Andrew Bogut out of the lineup this season.
Bogut said he took a pain killer before Sunday's game and felt ok until the fourth-quarter hit.
Bogut said he can't sneeze, cough or take deep breaths. The fractured rib is close to his lung, running risk of a puncture if his rib breaks
Bogut said he's been advised that the rib is too close to the right lung -- risking a puncture -- to play through the pain.
Bogut said he initially injured his rib Thursday and took another shot Sunday that put it over the top.
Jackson said it wasn't likely that Kuzmic or Hilton Armstrong would be real options in the playoffs.
We'll talk to Bogut in a few minutes. Remember, DLee was all but ruled out of the playoffs last year after Game 1... then played.
Asked if David Lee could see a lot of time at center in the playoffs, Jackson said it'd depend on the match-up.
Jackson said Ezeli would be an option in playoffs when and if he's ready to play. Ezeli hasn't done 5-on-5 live work yet. But maybe close.
Andrew Bogut is officially out indefinitely with a broken rib. Mark Jackson wouldn't give a guess on availability for the first round...
Mark Jackson said O'Neal, Lee and Barnes will start with curry and Thompson.
What to do at center? Start David Lee and go small? Go with Jermaine O'Neal. Festus Ezeli getting closer to practicing. Hey, Ognjen Kuzmic!
W's will start O'Neal, Lee, Barnes, Klay and Curry, per MJax.
Andre Iguodala will not play on second half of back-to-back, per MJax.
Mark Jackson said Andre Iguodala will not play tonight vs. Minnesota.
Asked if Bogut's injury could keep him out of the first round, Jackson would only repeat "out indefinitely."
Andrew Bogut suffered a fractured rib and is "out indefinitely," per Mark Jackson.
Mark Jackson said Andrew Bogut has a fractured rib and is out indefinitely.
The Warriors are ready for the home finale -- "Fan Appreciation Night." http://t.co/QJnzL4E8KD
The Warriors have recalled Ognjen Kuzmic and Nemanja Nedovic from D-League Santa Cruz.
Boogie Cousins got suspended for the season finale, gets early start on helping John Calipari promote his book.
If you know how the 49ers operate and react, that's a fairly important difference in their defense of Smith between September and now.
But after the LAX incident--and the criticism of the 49ers--there has been, to my knowledge, no counter-argument by 49ers management.
There was immediate 49ers push back last September when they were criticized for playing Aldon Smith 2 days after his DUI. But this time...
there's one marketing dept you can't fire - your customers - remember...they tell your brand story
Andrew Bogut (ribs) listed as doubtful for tonight's game against Minnesota.
The Denver Nuggets were ripe to be upset last year as a No.3. I don't see the Clippers as that at all.
Nice to see bizarro Pat Narduzzi in my media scrum. http://t.co/LOy0NGBjgl
Some may disagree and it may not matter, but Warriors head into postseason less confident than they did year ago.
Cab driver clearly disappointed at the Diamond he picked up. "A nice surprise," he lied.
I've been pointed to Aldon Smith's April 29 court date for DUI and weapons charges as a possible very significant moment.
You're crazy and I'm out of my mind
Warriors haven't released X-ray results on Andrew Bogut's ribs X-ray. "That’ll play itself out. Obviously, he’s huge for us," MJackson said.
Steph Curry on Curry's 47 points: "Obviously, I’ve had bigger numbers with losses. It sucks. It definitely puts a taint on it."
Andre Iguodala on Curry's 47 points: "No matter who comes to see him play, he’s playing as if that’s the only time they might ever see him."
Draymond Green on Steph Curry's 47 points: “I don’t know why people continue to be so amazed by him. I’m amazed when he doesn’t do that."
If Aldon Smith made it back in better shape after being rushed back, more power to him. If he didn't... then he didn't.
What I heard during his rehab was that some NFL execs believed it'd be best if Smith didn't play again in 2013. He was rushed back, though.
If some 49ers fans are going to rise up in righteous indignation to support Aldon Smith... just block yourselves.
I'm not a judge or DA, but they probably don't tend to cut lenient deals for people who get into further incidents with cases pending.
Aldon Smith has a scheduled court date April 29 on the previous weapons and DUI charges. Things are more than piling up.
What a game
Andrew Bogut undergoing an X ray exam.
Can't ask for a better look than that. Good decision by Curry
Curry and Thompson are shooting as if Ray Felton was guarding both of them.
Thompson has gotten so clutch
This is a great game.
Andrew Bogut (hit in the ribs) will not return, according to the Warriors.
Andrew Bogut got hit on the ribs and will not return.
I don't see Andrew Bogut on the Warriors' bench. He was trying to stretch something out on the baseline for quite a bit of the 2nd half.
In Michigan State-ese, Day Day eatin' like a Spartan Dawg.
Haven't been watching this game that closely, but are the Warriors just shooting over Lillard every time down? Seems like it.
But most of the other West playoff teams actually have a guy or two who can slow Curry down. Portland does not. Obviously.
If it's Curry vs. the World like this in the playoffs... the ratings will be HIGH and should be. GSWs might lose quick but what a show.
How was that not a foul
