1/2: Wow, a huge one-handed alley-oop slam for Whiteside from Wade … then Hill gets a near dunk around Whiteside...
That might have been Hill's best play as a Laker. BK
I don't understand how some people simultaneously diminish the value of 2nd round picks and then get excited about Clarkson. BK
JORDAN CRAIG HILL.
What a pass from Jeremy Lin to Jordan Hill as Lakers are still trailing by three with 45.0 seconds left.
That pass was as good of a play as Jeremy Lin has made all season.
Wade made a great play to get his own miss on the O glass, and hit both FT's to put MIA back up 3 … but Hill answered on Lin's 9th dime.

Quite a serpentine exhibition of pain from Clarkson... BK
DON'T BE HURT, CLARKSON.
Ellington made a nice extra pass to Clarkson under the rim, but Whiteside came over for his 5th block plus 23 boards. MIA up 3, 1:53 left.
Ed Davis was playing well with 14 points and 12 rebounds, so he gets taken out with 2:20 remaining.
Miami aggressively trapped Lin, who's been running LAL's O, and Wade stole the ball from Kelly. Whiteside hit 1 of 2 FT's after Kelly's PF.

Dragic has been in LAL's paint all night, now with 18 points and 6 assists on 5 of 9 FG's and 8 of 8 FT's. But LAL hanging, tied at 80.
Wes Johnson on a 5-0 run as the Lakers tie the game at 78.
LAL's starters have had trouble elevating their play as opponents do in 3rd Q. They play hard consistently, just don't have that next gear.

The whole point of a jump hook is that it's supposed to be unblockable. Not for Whiteside. Stuffs Sacre THEN feeds Dragic from 80 feet.
Ronda Rousey recently defended her title in 14 seconds, but Robert Sacre picked up two fouls in less time. That's pretty impressive, guys.
A quick Heat run has the home team back in front, capped by a Whiteside swat and ensuing Dragic layup to make it 57-55 Heat. T.O., LAL.

J. Lin (18.0 ppg on 51.3% FG's + 35.0% 3's; 5.5 apg; 3.3 rpg; 1.3 spg; 28.2 mpg post All-Star) hit a fading J for the 1st hoop of the 2nd Q.
