My nephew looks like he's about to be the coldest harmonica player this side of the Mississippi. http://t.co/7meCj3AYAQ
Melo claims his knee has been sore since Oct. 30 proving again that him losing a few pounds was a story almost as overblown as the triangle
A 3-9 record is bad. Falling behind the Bucks by 26 is bad. But if Carmelo's knee is a problem that's a disaster for the Knicks.
JR Smith: "For some reason it’s something we have to be reminded of, to play hard, something that’s really embarrassing at some point."
Anthony says knee has been sore since Cleveland and has had tests but claims it's "not that serious.''
Carmelo said left knee has been hurting since second game and got worse tonight. Hasn't talked about tomorrow yet.
Anthony said he's playing through it and plans to continue to do so.
Carmelo said his left knee has been bothering him since second game of the season. Said he has had some tests but didn't say what it is.
Carmelo says he's had tests on the knee. Tape came off of it tonight, and he could feel it while he was trying to play thru the issue
Melo says he left knee has been sore since the Cleveland game. Yikes.
Not really a training room in Knicks' locker room. So Melo is in here getting his sore left knee iced down as other players give interviews.
Melo on trainers table getting treatment. Right knee in brace. Fisher said nothing serious though.
Fisher said he'll talk to Melo & medical staff about his knee that had to be re-taped. We'll talk to Melo in a couple mins in locker room.
Fisher said Acy & Jason Smith not receiving time was due to matchup issues. He felt they needed to go small vs. MIL.
Fisher: "Our offense was coming easy. And I think it played into the mindset that we didn't have to get [defensive] stops every time down."
Kidd needs to balance free throw shooters here with players who aren't completely panicked.
Fisher will go off/def w/ THJ on offense & Prigioni on defense.
Whatever happens here, it's astounding how few fans are here in Milwaukee.
Bucks had 95 points through 3 quarters - now have 5 FG's in the 4th - and 6 turnovers.
Kind of funny to watch J.R. and Quincy Acy calming down Shumpert after near blows with Giannis.
People keep saying defensive effort hinges on the O. Knicks have shot 50% basically every qtr tonight. Its a flawed team that can't defend
I do not like what I hear from twitter on this KU-UK game.
Hardaway Jr. trying to jumpstart a big comeback w/ 20 off the bench on 7-for-10 shooting from the floor and 3-of-6 behind the arc.
Love Shumpert's effort on the glass.
Every Bucks' player who's taken a shot attempt tonight is shooting at least 50% in this game.
A 7-footer euro-stepping like Giannis just did is terrifying.
Carmelo appears to be wincing. Down 21 Fisher should think of pulling him out.
And to add to the bad news - Carmelo is clearly limping and wincing.
Carmelo's knee clearly bothering him.
Bucks are so young, tall and athletic. You'd think they'd have more fans here, even if it's just to get out of the cold.
Bucks are out rebounding the Knicks 35-14. So bad offense, horrific defense and lazy board work.
I know Giannis is growing taller every minute, but he's still playing the wing - and just got 3 offensive rebounds over the Knicks center.
Rebounding edge to Milwaukee is 35-14. Kidd is headed to Brooklyn later tonight with a winning team.
The Bucks rank 25th in the NBA in scoring. They have 83 midway through the third quarter - up 24 on the Knicks.
Derek Fisher must be doing the Phil thing of not calling timeout to see how his team handles trouble.... They're not handling it well.
If Iman Shumpert was playing for the Bucks tonight the score would be Milwaukee 1,000,000-Knicks 38
If Iman Shumpert wasn't here, the Knicks would be down 40.
So easy, every time. The Warriors are just scoring at will on Knicks. What? This is the Bucks, not Golden State? Oh boy, that's a problem.
To start the 2nd half the Knicks defense allows 2 open 3-pointe looks that the Bucks pass on and take a layup instead. And then another one.
Other bright side: I'm in a good mood at the arena, and have Dougie'd and Schmoney danced multiple times tonight.
Bright side: Shump looks great; Knicks shooting 54%. Glass half empty: Bucks are 2nd-worst O in NBA, yet shooting 61% and have 66 at half.
The continued inability to contain dribble penetration is the genesis of this teams defensive issues. Same as last season.
Knicks lose Melo briefly while he gets his knee taped. Offense grounded to a halt, while floodgates opened on D. Bucks lead 66-49 at half.
Bucks are blowing by Knicks defenders - layups or kicking it out to open 3-point shooters. And they don't even have Zen.
The Bucks have missed 16 shots. They've gotten nine offensive rebounds off those misses already.
Despite Carmelo's knee retaping, the Bucks are right now running the Knicks out of the empty building - 62-47 late in 1st half.
Bucks are shooting 61 percent. Offense isn't the Knicks' issue. It remains defense.
Now we see why Melo walked right across the court - because he's checking right in.
Make that Melo just checked back into the game.
Carmelo back from trip to the locker room - he not only is walking well, but walked right across the court.
Melo now making his way back to the bench and will check right back into the game.
Melo is back, walking to the bench.
Hope Anthony didn't catch Cleanthony's loose particle. Melo winced after a rebound. Back getting knee taped. Interesting.
Correction: Melo is getting his knee re-taped not ankle.
Melo is headed to the locker room.
Carmelo is heading to the locker room with a Knicks' trainer.
Carmelo headed to the locker room with 6:35 to play in the half
Derek Fisher praised Bucks defense on the season. Right now Kincks are shooting 63 percent from the floor.
Tonight marks 4th-straight game Knicks have allowed 30 points or more in the first quarter.
Feels like Knicks have shot really well in opening quarters for the past week. But they don't get nearly enough stops to build leads.
The good news: Knicks score 30 in 1Q again. Bad news: Allow 30.
Melo hits buzzer-beating jumper to end 1Q. Knicks shoot 60% to open the game, but only have a tie to show for it.
Shump next to me here just off the floor on the bike. Fisher talked about making sure he stays warm w/ that hip injury.
Already 3 trips to the line for Melo. Good sign as he continues to be aggressive & seek FT opportunities.
Does anyone have the "DidTimHardawayJrShootIt" domain name already?
Weird I saw the movie James Franco was in last night & now he’s playing for the Bucks wearing No. 7.
Shumpert has looked like a new player this year. Still has a lot to work on, but he's played so much better in this offensive system.
Shumpert should cut his flat top into a triangle.
Shump 5 of 6 for 11 points. Gosh, to watch a shell of him play last season and stand in the corner. Triangle has enlivened him.
Shumpert is making his presence felt on offense - 5-of-6 with 11 points. But two turnovers on bad passes.
Lowkey, Shumpert's hair is beginning to look like those hats the security guards wear at Buckingham Palace.
Shump's back. Hits open J from elbow on first possession. Points to get Melo in right spot on 2nd possession. Takes handoff for layup-and-1
