The Kings pick is then protected in 2013 (1-13), 2014 (1-12) and 2015-2017 (1-10). Means they can't trade a pick until Cavs deal complete.

BTW, No. 7 was KJ's number, but it was also where he was selected in the 1987 draft...one pick after Kings selected Kenny "The Jet" Smith.
