HoopsHype Toronto Raptors twitter
ugly TUES seems like distant memory now. But FRI...the Suns. They just beat HOU. Greeeat. Oh & Kobe's 1ST game may be SUN vs TOR...lovely
Good win Carolina
Keon's a very sad story. Lots of substance abuse issues.
Clementines with seeds: proof of Satan.
Who is your most trusted operative?
This hotel is pumping perfume in the air like a Vegas casino pumps oxygen.
So sick of the liberal media, tho
Never forget how much credit The Wire gave both Royce and Carcetti.
$5,000 and a car is a garbage offer.
Seriously: trying to buy the crack video is the least crazy thing Ford has done recently.
Trying this again. NBA teams from the East have gone 114-154 so far. Teams from the West 154-114
Gloomiest Points Per Game ever? Arriving shortly. Actually, amazingly, it isn't even close to gloomiest Last night could be good in long run
6. Kyle Lowry played his ass off. So did DeMar. This team is a disaster, though.
5. Valanciunas has to get better post position, and realize quicker when he does not have it to allow time for something else.
4. Jermaine O'Neal's corpse!
3. The Warriors have an excellent pick-and-roll big man in David Lee, and, gasp, use him.
2. Golden State has some world-class shooters. They made some ridiculous shots. They also moved the ball well to get some easy ones.
So, about that fourth quarter: 1. Too many deep-into-the-24 possessions for Raptors. In actuality, they're not built for that.
There's not really any coming back from last night. Consider it the straw that broke the camel's back. Change will result from it.
Did that actually happen or was the whole thing a dream sequence? The PPG was pretty glowing through three quarters...
With Leafs sinking like a stone and Raptors blowing 27 pt leads, I'd like to officially welcome Tim Leiweke to MLSE.
I went to be bed with the Raps up 27 ....
Was it Isiah, Bitove, Damon, Vince, T-Mac, Butch, GG, Alvin Robertson, Jackie Christie, Kendra Davis or somebody else that cursed Raptors?
PPG coming in the morning. Needs a re-write.
Alright, I'm stepping away from the keyboard. I'll attempt to find a beer. Wow ... tonight ... just ... WOW. See ya folks.
The Novak gambit did not work.
A lot of good was wasted. Amazing first half at both ends. Offence was rolling, Curry/Thompson all but shut down ...
Not sure how Raptors bounce back from this. Not to be too dramatic, but change surely is going to come unless footing is found fast.
Massive collapse. No other way to put it.
Organic tank is strong
Are there other NBA teams where you feel no lead is big enough, or is it just the Raptors? (talking historically)
Why would you want to guard the three-point line against the best outside shooting team in NBA history so far? That's too conventional
Through 3 QRTs: TOR was 7/13 from 3PT. In the 4th: 1/6. Through 3 QRTs: GSW was 4/22 from 3PT. In the 4th: 8/11.
Wa wa wee wa
GSW is down 11 and the entire building is standing. Crazy.
Lead down to 11 and Casey calls a timeout. Gut check time.
The Oracle Arena crowd is finding its lungs. Raps lead is at 13.
Lowry coming back in. Did not expect this the way he was looking on the bench.
DeMar gets the Raps on the board in the fourth with a nice drive and finish.
Klay with another three to open the fourth.
Steve Novak appears to have found his trusty three-point shot. Started 3-for-13 as a Raptor. 9-for-19 since.
Lowry is up and in the huddle but he's still not looking good - hands on his knees, head down.
Warriors got a little life back there towards the end of the third, but Raps lead is still 18. Lowry still being attended to on bench.
Klay hits a three and the crowd is right back in this one. Warriors still down 18.
Between them Klay Thompson and Steph Curry are 2-for-9 from three.
Lowry is staying on the bench. Apparently he ran into Bogut face-first. Did not see it but he stayed down for some time.
DeMar has 10 in the quarter and it's only at the halfway point.
The look on Klay Thompson's face as he left the court said it all. Raps have him completely flustered.
Raps are up 22 but Curry hits one like that (contested) and everyone on press row goes "Uh oh!"
Warriors' backcourt of Steph and Klay have 11 points combined. Raps duo of Lowry and DeRozan have 21
Raps are 5-for-9 from three. Warriors, who normally own that particular category are just 2-for-7.
Raps up 65-48 after a half. Now the big question. Can they finally come out and play and a solid third quarter?
Johnson now has a team-leading 14 points. Bench total is 27, all but four coming from Johnson and Novak. GS bench toal is seven points.
Steve Novak doing what he does with three threes in very short order. Raps lead back up to 17.
Amir Johnson is answering this bench banishment tonight. He's 5-for-6 with eight rebounds and 12 points. Oh yeah, that energy ... it's back.
Have to wonder if MKG's fractured hand gets them at all interested in Rudy Gay.
Rudy picks up his third. Fields coming in.
DeMar has been quiet but that last drive might get him started. He went strong.
Well, second unit didn't give it all away but that 17-point lead is down to 12. Still, few are complaining.
