HoopsHype Toronto Raptors twitter
I never stay up for the TNT late game because I'm old and boring. Is NBA Twitter extra emotional tonight, or is it always like this?
TNT now reframing the best backcourt in the NBA conversation into a best duo in the NBA conversation, so we're definitely getting dumber.
Life is garbage.
Kevin Durant is mostly theoretical.
This is another sport. It's damn near another language.
This is breathtaking basketball.
The Thunder winning the title seems like a conservative prediction. I predict that the Thunder will not lose again.
There are 5 good teams in East. vs. each other: TOR 4-3, ATL 3-3, CHI 1-2, CLE 5-3, WASH 1-3. Clears up a lot, I know.
Dirk Nowitzki is the lowest paid player in Dallas' starting lineup. No accident. His sacrifice made Parsons signing/Rondo deal possible
Mission accomplished. /retires http://t.co/qQ3RtGB4FT
Conner McDavid Doc on Sportsnet 360 now ...
What if we just played three halves of Thunder-Warriors?
As if Christmas is next week...
Knicks-Bulls is seriously making me consider watching the Leafs.
Who is the jerk that keeps approving the Knicks playing on TNT?
“So they traded me to Dallas.” “Texas is cool." http://t.co/XHjVjiAgeO
With cap rising and nearly $10 million leaving with Wright/Jameer/Crowder, Mavs should easily be able to re-sign Rondo.
Raptor killer Jameer Nelson moves in-division and Canadian Dwight Powell heading to Mavs where he might play out of necessity.
Mavs will need follow-up. Awfully thin in front-court. Will also need Rondo to try again on defence. If he does Rondo/Chandler is scary.
Nobody would bite at crazy price last year, so Celtics did what they can to avoid losing him for nothing. Rondo has declined as player.
Celtics are only a half-game out of a playoff spot. They could make it by accident. God bless the East.
Last year was told by someone in know the ask for Rondo was: “A combination involving at least one lottery pick and talented young player."
Canadian Dwight Powell has appeared in 5 NBA games. He's been traded 3 times.
Also, Brandan Wright is very good, although his talents might be wasted on a bad team.
Also, the Raptors have clinched the Atlantic Division.
We've learned over past few years that you can't just mash stars together and succeed. My faith in Dirk/Carlisle is pretty strong, though.
Rondo to Dallas is going to be fascinating. I'm not sure he's good for them. The NBA rules.
Mavs, already dangerous team in West, would become legit title contender w/Rondo. Big boost on both ends, particularly on D. Would be a coup
Celtics asked for too much last year for Rondo Raptors and others wouldn't cave now seems he'll go for far less
Somehow, Jonas Valanciunas still sounds like Borat
Just received a rent increase notice, just before the holidays. Christmas arson?
Saliendo para Detroit.. Heading to Detroit...
Amir Johnson has been rounding into glue-guy form. Raps DRTG with him is 102.6, far lower than other 3 non-DeMar starters.
Two words.. Kwe Parker
Prior to last night, earliest date Raptors had ever reached 20 wins in a season was Jan. 11 (2001-02 season). Beat it by nearly four weeks.
My tweets/36 really skyrockets during periods of transcription.
I need to go see the movie Selma when it comes out .. looks like it's going to be a tough one to watch I'll have my tissue box ready
12 points on 11 FGA, of course, is not disastrous by any stretch. But anecdotally, JJ was more effective than Fields as primary defender.
When James Johnson was on the floor, Joe Johnson went 2-for-6 for 5 points last night. All other times: 6-for-11, 12 points. FYI.
No wonder he missed the scorer's table... http://t.co/k9NCIVA7yo
Last nights game though....
Good morning thanking God for another day
LRT: Anything that makes Mrs. Coach curse must be evil incarnate.
Casey said he’s never seen a young player work on his game every day as hard as Bruno Caboclo.
Writing pro tip: Don't write a story about James Johnson or Joe Johnson lest you want to refer to "James Johnson" and "Joe Johnson" a lot.
Patrick Patterson is shooting 60% from three in December (9 games), 58% from two-point range in that span.
From the comments: "One could do a lot worse than Drake."
The Manimal with the FINISH!
That concludes the second annual "it's not about Drake" Drake Night. 56 "regular" games to go. How boring.
Patterson: "That Game 7 was definitely on my mind from the time I woke up this morning to even now. It was a bit of revenge, in my eyes"
