I’ve mentioned Casey’s flaws all season, pointed out issues. Just don’t see making the move now without golden replacement.
The mob says fire Dwane Casey, but I don’t believe that makes sense at the moment for a variety of reasons. Film at 11 (or story up in 15).
So, yeah: blame everyone! It's quite freeing.
And yeah yeah, RB isn't the king in the north either. Great morning.
"Hey Paul, great series. Two-part question: What do the Hawks do well that makes them so tough, and do you know who Roose Bolton is?
Wait — Paul Pierce declared himself the king of the north in the same picture in which he sat on iron throne. That makes no sense.
Underrated quote from Greivis Vasquez last night on if there should be changes: "It’s not for me to judge I’m not a GM, I’m a point guard."
Point is Dave Joerger (a good coach) used JJ in a similar fashion. He's a good player w/ a specific skill set & (on-court) discipline issues
Masai Ujiri availability at 11 Tuesday
Again, & hopefully for the final time, reports/speculation of a James Johnson/Casey tiff are FALSE. His role was defined when he signed here
Interesting choice of words but no, JJ is not the most talented player on Toronto's roster. Why would Casey say that? Trade-related bravado?
Has anybody done the definitive ranking of free airport wifi yet?
For those asking: Ujiri will do his end-of-season media Tuesday.
Casey end-of-season presser went just over 29 mins. Lots there. Everyone is held accountable but team is still growing. Expects to be back

"Establishing a style of play offensively that will help our defence. A lot of our defensive woes were connected to that," - coach Casey
Casey: Offensively we need something where a guy touches the ball at least every third time down the floor ... so they can stay engaged.

Casey: 'I didn't do a good job establishing a style of pay offensively that helps our defense ...

Casey's at the podium now, wearing his championship ring again (wore it post-game yesterday)
Casey comes to the podium wearing his championship ring from Dallas. I am not sure I have seen him wear it before.
Of course, there's little benefit to public self-criticism.
Of course, that's how most post-mortems go. But not a lot of honest self-assessment happening.
What quotes coming out of Raps post-mortem amount to: Everybody arguing for themselves.
DeMar: Losing this playoff series ... helped me mature to be that leader going into next year.
Fourth Paul Pierce question - what do you think of what he posted on his Instagram last night? "I don't care"
Somewhere the "do you guys need a player LIKE Paul Pierce" question has morphed into "do you need Paul Pierce". Jeeze.

DeRozan Says last year the team had a chip. This year the hot start may have skewed stuff
DeMar: 'You can't just be comfortable being in the playoffs ... you need to use the season to be the best once the playoffs start'
DeRozan: "The "It" is going to be confusing for me for a while. I don't know."

DeMar: 'Case is getting a lot of flack, Case is a great coach .... it's like a Rubiks Cube .... I'm pretty sure we'll figure it all out.'
