I don’t know how they won that game. Holy crap
On the other hand, it set up Kirk Hinrich blowing the game! ALRIGHT
I generally hate people who complain about the refs, but are you fucking kidding me?
Phantom foul. Obviously.
Well, they ran Beal off that curl with Nene in the post. They love that play. Just missed it.
Blaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh bad feeling about this.
Bulls have been helping off the corner like crazy all night. Stunned they’ve done that. Wiz are making them pay.
Why are the Bulls giving the ball to Kirk Hinrich so much? (Thanks)
It’s huge that the Wizards can cross match with all three of their perimeter players.
Wizards close 4th to force ot with a 14-4 run
Lets play five more
If you’re going to do that, Webster should be in the game.
Nope. Not a great play call.
If it were up to me, I’d decoy a Beal curl on one side and have Wall cross over and drive.
Well, I guess the refereeing balanced out. Should have been a Bulls timeout.
You can thank all those pick and rolls all season for that Beal hesitation move. Wouldn’t have it without that experience.
Brad didn’t have that hesitation dribble two months ago.
Booker definitely Carlton Banks’d that last play, though.
Ariza should have taken the three.
Now Trevor Ariza is guarding DJ Augustin.
Bulls cheated middle and Wall made them pay. Lucky the rebound got batted out.
Ariza on DJ, hard trap. That’s dangerous because the Bulls bigs are so good at making the right read. But worked there.
Just saw the replay of the fifth foul called on Beal. Really? There is a reason I tweeted out the officials before the game. Just saying.
Bulls have made a couple adjustments. Really getting into guys defensively and many more short rolls to give their bigs the ball in space.
Beals fifth foul
Yeah, officiating’s been a joke tonight. And y’all know I don’t say that lightly.
Gortat’s been awful tonight.
Bulls switched and Gortat didn’t even look to post up Butler. Why?
Gotta bring Wall back in if you’re taking Nene out.
That's Nene's fifth foul
Two makeup calls so far. Wiz can’t shoot free throws though.
No way that’s a charge. Come on.
Bulls are realizing that Gibson and Boozer both have quickness advantages on Gortat.
Joakim just passed to Noahbody.
Think they need to get Beal moving off the ball a bit.
Just have to tip your cap on shots like that.
Gotta settle down, but man, some of these botched calls...
Also, I counted at least three Bulls shoves on that Dunleavy three.
Gotta stay under Butler ball screens.
Bulls cannot guard the Wizards’ secondary break.
Players on different teams are talking to each other and Joey Crawford is ON IT.
They’ll be fine. Generating good looks. You can’t get upset when Ariza is wide open for three.
Great finish to the half. I really liked the p&r coverage on the Augustin/Noah one on CHI’s final play. They baited D.J. into the pull-up
As expected, Augustin is giving the ball up sooner on these pick and rolls.
Beals third foul
Smart play there by the Bulls. If Wiz put Noah on Nene, have Taj fade and attack Gortat on a closeout.
If I were Wittman I’d be giving a loud speech now. THE ONLY WAY THEY CAN BEAT YOU IS BY HACKING YOU. YOU’RE F**** BETTER THAN THEM. SHOW IT"
Wiz do need to calm down. They got this. Bulls are just hacking and getting away with it.
It didn't take long for the series to heat up. Game on now
Things getting testy in United Center as Beal and Hinrich have to be separated. Each get a tech. Noah uses it as chance to fire up crowd.
How do you give Beal a double T there? What the hell? Joey Crawford at it again.
Bulls are definitely trying to get Noah the ball more and cutting off him, but Nene is all over him.
One really underrated thing: the DJ/Kirk backcourt duo is ineffective because Beal and Wall can cross-match.
Man, Nene trapped Augustin, then recovered for the rebound. Another monster performance.
That was a fantastic look away by Wall to find Nene.
Palm to the face, no call, obviously.
Bradley Beal curling off a screen for three, or the play every Wizards fan wishes they saw more this year.
Interesting wrinkle on the sideline handoff play. Beal ran through the paint, then curled back.
There’s Augustin again declining the ball screen. Wiz have to watch for that.
Bulls just sent two cutters through back to back. Interesting wrinkle, even if it didn’t work.
The Bulls NEVER screw up their transition coverages like this.
Bradley Beal beating Kirk Hinrich to a loose ball. I’m honestly stunned.
This is amazing.
