No Paul George or Rodney Stuckey for the Pacers. Frank Vogel said George 'is not ready to play yet." The end.
Also no Toure' Murry (sprained left ankle) for the Wizards. That's four out. Standard starting 5: Wall, Beal, Nene, Gortat, Pierce.
The most famous athlete at Verizon Center tonight won't be John Wall. Not even close. Lionel Messi and the Argentine Nat'l team expected.
What a joke
Space Jam pickup games > Dream Team pickup games.
This picture looks like Jay Gruden is subversively plotting world domination: http://t.co/dJIlzm71aI
Maybe defend the guy standing right in front of goal? Just a thought.
Alright only longballs to Jozy that’ll work every time
I'd also expect them to draft a quarterback. First-round discussion aside, McCloughan always drafts a QB. Probably a mid- to late-rounder.
Based off this morning, it appears the Redskins will target an outside linebacker, right tackle, a running back and a safety in the draft.
For all the end-of-days talk around the Wizards, they could easily land homecourt in 1st round, if not finish 3rd. http://t.co/5bIjWMscek
No matter how much damage the internet ultimately does to society, it was all worth it for @Clickhole.
Last tweet. Meant to say Beal conceded Wizards did NOT always play hard v. Warriors.
Wall and Beal not buying the talk of quitting. Beal conceded Wizards did always play hard v. Warriors. Wall didn't notice arguing.
Michael Carter-Williams will look a lot better if he is more precise with his basic passes. You’d think Kidd could help there.
Jay Gruden spoke with reporters for exactly one hour. There were no questions about quarterbacks for 24 minutes.
Gruden maintained the Redskins will take the best player available at No. 5, but his tone indicated he's not interested in adding a QB.
Gruden on departed free agents: "If they're not on our roster right now, we don't have any plans for them to be with us."
Gruden doesn't know what Santana Moss' plans are (retirement) but "I would not hesitate to call him." Probably a post-draft situation.
Gruden will give Thompson and Redd a chance to be the third-down back, but figures to draft a RB.
Gruden on the No. 5 pick: "You've got to be right." Considers it a deep draft.
Gruden said it's been refreshing to work with McCloughan and having a guy that likes to focus on drafting and developing.
Gruden reaffirms that Griffin will take starter's snaps through offseason and entering training camp.
The real question is if the Redskins could carry four quarterbacks all season...
Gruden: We carried three quarterbacks last year. I don't know why we couldn't do it again this year.
Gruden said OLB is probably a position to be addressed in the draft.
Gruden said he's glad Orakpo got a good contract and will miss his leadership. Understands it was frustrating for him last year.
Gruden doesn't yet know how rotation on D-line will shake out. Knighton at NT, obviously, but ends, nickel line still TBA.
Re the last RT: Interesting how top-heavy the Spurs have become this year. Lost without Kawhi, bench struggling, etc.
Gruden looking at Morgan and Compton at RT.
Gruden said "there's an opportunity" to potentially move a CB to FS. Believes the person to fill that spot isis already on the team.
Culliver a guy Gruden thinks was second to Revis in cornerback market.
Jay Gruden speaking with reporters at NFL media breakfast. Will update sporadically.
Someone take Chance The Rapper's verse on Bronson and set it over the Ether beat.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. We need to experience the fearsome love of God. Have a blessed day !!
Crazy, crazy finish in Milwaukee!
if Danny Green raised his eyebrow, Monta Ellis would fly by him.
MIA is trying to blow this game but Dwyane Wade just grabbed his cape...
Love Kawhi, obviously. But surprised that the Spurs waited so long to put Green on Monta. Better matchup.
Doubt we’re going to see the Spurs defend this poorly the rest of the year. Mavs guards are getting middle way too easily.
Kawhi might want to think about going under on some of these Monta screens. He’s getting nailed every time on screens.
Spurs’ conservative schemes sometimes hurt them against guards like Ellis that use that space to get a head of steam.
Goddamn, another Kawhi steal.
Surprised the Spurs haven’t switched Kawhi to Parsons.
Tired and grumpy and Shaq's barbecue chicken routine just made me homicidal for a brief second.
Goddammit Kawhi not fair
Do they have self-help books for how to survive having your pass stolen by Kawhi Leonard? They should.
Tiago Splitter just performed the first granny-style shot in the run of play.
Mavs are sinking way off Kawhi in half-court sets. Kawhi has to make them pay from three. Otherwise, teams will do that in the playoffs.
The Wizards go through options in their sets like they have a 56K modem. Then, they give up once they hear that awful connection sound.
Amazing contrast in how decisively the Warriors pass and move compared to the Wizards. So, so many reasons for that.
Today in Great Wizards Spacing. No wonder Nene turned this over http://t.co/kb1Gxnq4nl
This college Coach of the Year debate isn't complicated. In coaching awards, voters often look for overachieving (Bennett) over best (Cal).
Nash: “I wasn’t ever a sure thing. I had to overcome a lot to get to the level I was able to get to...That's an incredible source of pride."
Steve Nash: "I simply want people to remember me as a competitor & a great teammate...Those are the two most important things."
Incredible transparency here. Bravo, White Sox: http://t.co/HlIJIGHucH
