Well, not Morris himself, but ... you know.
Griffin dropped a bombshell: Alfred Morris had a son this offseason.
In terms of starting, Griffin said Gruden thought that he was the best option at quarterback, "and I'm happy about that."
Gruden said nothing specific happened to Reed regarding his knee. Just wanted to get checked out for precautionary reasons.
Gruden said the depth at corner is "outstanding" following offseason acquisitions. Praised Culliver's bump-and-run ability.
Gruden praised Trevardo Williams, who was with the first team in place of Kerrigan, as a strong, speedy player. Could be top-four rusher.
Ihenacho and Goldson were the top two safeties today. Gruden said they'll mix them all in, but that they are better there than a year ago.
Turnovers are "definitely, definitely something [the defensive coaches] are preaching," Gruden said. Cited last year's turnover numbers.
Gruden said Griffin is "a confident guy" and didn't detect any kind of hit to his psyche last year. Trying to now get players around him.
Gruden said team is trying to push the tempo in practice. They haven't gone no-huddle yet but will work that in soon.
Gruden: "I expect all three of them to compete and get better."
Gruden is having McCoy and Cousins battle for the back-up role, "but I would like to see them push Robert [as they] push themselves."
DeSean Jackson is not planning on being here this week. Will be in town next week, Gruden said.
Trent Williams missed a flight out of Houston last night. It was canceled. Jordan Reed is getting a knee examined.
Gruden said after last year, a player should show a lot of improvement. "I think Robert's going to be fine."
Leonsis said he wants to bring a D-League team “to the community.”
If you had Kedric Golston and Ty Nsekhe in the first push-scrap-thing of OTAs, all of the $$$ to you.
"may the Father of Glory give you spiritual wisdom and revelation in your growing knowledge of him." Have a blessed day !!
Among players not at voluntary on-field practice today: DeSean Jackson, Trent Williams, Jordan Reed, Tracy Porter.
DeAngelo Hall (left Achilles tendon tear) walked out to the practice field at Redskins Park with a helmet. Extent of activity TBD.
Warriors gotta hook Lil B up with tickets for Game 5.
Assuming Curry is good/ G5 win at home, this loss isn't a bad thing for GSW long term. Would have been off crazy long time before finals.
"Man that shot so ill that we had to restart it/H-town my second home like I'm James Harden..."
Warriors had a wide-open layup and stepped back and missed a fadeaway three with a man in Klay’s face. Finally, they pushed too far.
What a fast break
Somebody told Steph when he sees three baskets, aim for the middle one.
Make a free throw, Josh Smith
Josh Smith took a shot only Nick Young could love.
Warriors forgot a bit about Klay because they were running so many Steph pick and rolls and Houston switched.
Amazing how controlled James Harden is at all times. Like he's playing slower than everyone else and yet gets where he wants.
I always wonder why more teams don’t set the ball screen 30 feet from the hoop. Tough to defend that play with all that space.
He's back. So are the Warriors.
Ariza knew he had no help on that Klay 3 and tried to go under and contest. Didn’t work.
Setting the screen out higher has given new life to Harden’s pick and roll game.
Rockets started to set that Harden ball screen near half court in Game 3, but too late to matter. Has mattered tonight.
Well im as uncomfortable with Curry being back so quickly as I was with watching that replay over and over
Steph Curry Back
Andrew Bogut should open a camp for how to sneak in pushes and shoves without getting caught. Dwight Howard should be his first student.
Andrew Bogut remains the sneakiest goon in the NBA. Dwight’s elbow was in retaliation.
Was Jeff Van Gundy saying the Warriors were smart for playing semantics with a serious head injury?
Please stop showing this fall. .
Half: Rockets 69 Warriors 59 Reminder: Wizards scored 63 points in Game 3 against the Pacers in playoffs last year.
This playoffs is unfair.
Joey Crawford better get fined for flopping.
Way too many Warriors crashing the offensive boards on corner 3s. Have to be more disciplined. Rockets killing them the other way.
That closeout on Corey Brewer was vintage Iguodala.
Bogut and Barnes are totally out of it defensively.
Warriors a step or two slow getting back tonight. Floor balance is off.
Are we all just waiting for the Cowboys to sign Ray McDonald or...
My Royals out here throwing batting practice today in New York...& Eric Hosmer in right field is going as well as you might expect.
Dallas Keuchel retired 11 in a row. Then single, Pearce blast. O's jump into lead 4-3. 2nd O's homer. Keuchel allowed 1 HR before today.
Down goes Venus Williams, but she clearly looked labored in the 2nd set. Props to Sloane Stephens though
"Is this heaven?" http://t.co/UG0c5gUdgf
What you put it is what you get out. Stay in the word of the Lord. Have a blessed day!!
Weird to be covering today the team with the 2nd best record in MLB and that team being the Houston Astros.
I know Kenny meant that positively, but comparing LeBron James to Criss Angel in anyway seems more like an insult.
