Daily fantasy basketball: Kevin Durant might sing the blues in Memphis

On Wednesday, most teams play their final game before the All-Star break begins. However, one famous forward is not worth the big bucks he'll command.

G Damian Lillard, Trail Blazers vs. Lakers
$8,400 salary | 16.8% of cap

The Lakers allow the most points per game to opposing point guards by a wide margin, and Lillard has proven he can take advantage of the matchup. In two meetings with LA this season, he is averaging 36.5 points on 56.8% shooting with 53.13 FantasyScore points.

G Langston Galloway, Knicks at Magic
$3,900 salary | 7.8% of cap

He is averaging 25.30 FantasyScore points over his last five games, and he draws a friendly matchup tonight against an Orlando team that struggles to defend the point guard spot in every facet of the game. He should be a safe source of cap relief, especially with Carmelo Anthony (knee) unlikely to play.

G Giannis Antetokounmpo, Bucks vs. Kings
$5,000 salary | 10.0% of cap

Antetokounmpo is playing the best basketball of his career. He has topped 30.00 FantasyScore points in seven straight games and is averaging 43.06 over his last four. "The Greek Freak" should continue to roll tonight against Sacramento's 26th-ranked scoring defense.

F Charlie Villanueva, Mavericks vs. Jazz
$2,200 salary | 4.4% of cap

If you are looking to hit a home run tonight with a low-priced option, Villanueva could be the man. With Tyson Chandler (ankle) and Monta Ellis (hip) not expected to play, Dallas will be looking for size and scoring. Villanueva can provide both, and he delivered 31.75 FantasyScore points in Monday's game, in which Chandler and Ellis left in the first quarter.

F Shabazz Muhammad, Timberwolves vs. Warriors
$3,200 salary | 6.4% of cap

He returned from a lengthy absence Monday and immediately resumed his role as instant offense off the bench, finishing with 26.50 FantasyScore points. He doesn't have a ton of upside, but he should provide 25-plus points and plenty of wiggle room under the cap.

F James Johnson, Raptors vs. Wizards
$3,200 salary | 6.4% of cap

Johnson is healthy and back in the starting lineup, and he is averaging 27.83 FantasyScore points over his last two games. He should continue to produce tonight against a Wizards team allowing the fourth most points to opposing small forwards.

C Nikola Vucevic, Magic vs. Knicks
$8,000 salary | 16.0% of cap

The Knicks are a disaster, especially in the frontcourt, and Vucevic is averaging 50.88 FantasyScore in two previous meetings against New York. Pay up for Vucevic and save money at other positions.

G Tony Parker, Spurs at Pistons
$5,400 salary | 10.8% of cap

He has scored fewer than 30.00 FantasyScore in nine straight games, and he has notched fewer than 25.00 seven times during that stretch. Avoid him tonight against a Detroit defense allowing the fewest points to opposing point guards.

F Kevin Durant, Thunder vs. Grizzlies
$9,300 salary | 18.6% of cap

There is one defender that has had a bit of success slowing down Durant: Memphis' Tony Allen. In fact, he held Durant to 15 points on 31.3% shooting earlier this year. Don't pay Durant's healthy salary in one of the few matchups where he could disappoint.
