Daily fantasy basketball: John Wall with at least 40 FantasyScore points in four of his last six games

The center position is a little muddy Thursday, with a lot of inconsistency.

Utah Jazz big man Rudy Gobert ($6,800 salary; 13.6% of your cap) looks to be the best option. He is averaging 15 boards and more than two blocks per game over the last six. The risky part is that he's only averaging 10 points in that stretch.

The New York Knicks' Andrea Bargnani ($4,500; 9.0%), the Milwaukee Bucks' Zaza Pachulia ($3,000; 6.0%), and the Cleveland Cavaliers' Timofey Mozgov ($4,800; 9.6%) are all at midrange prices with decent matchups, but their production hasn't been good enough to strongly consider.

The guard spot looks to have the most potential.

G John Wall, Wizards vs. Grizzlies
$8,500 salary | 17.0% of cap

Memphis' Mike Conley (ankle) was limping badly after the game Wednesday, and he's questionable at best tonight. Even if he goes, he's likely to have limited mobility. Wall has posted 40 or more points on FantasyScore in four of his last six games, and he's averaging 39.3 points over the last three.

Start

F Kawhi Leonard, Spurs vs. Cavaliers
$6,600 salary | 13.2% of cap

Leonard has carried the team on his back in the second half, averaging 41.8 fantasy points the last seven contests. Cleveland has been about average defending the three in the last week. On a night without a lot of mid-to-high-priced commodities that stick out, Leonard appears to be the most fruitful.

G Beno Udrih, Grizzlies at Wizards
$2,600 salary | 5.2% of cap

Due to Conley's injury, Udrih is a speculative flyer worth taking Thursday. He's not setting the fantasy world on fire with 12.7 fantasy points per game over the last four. However, he could see heavy minutes for this matchup. Washington sits in the middle of the pack against the position the last five games.

G Alexey Shved, Knicks at Lakers
$2,200 salary | 4.4% of cap

Shved broke out Tuesday with a 49-point night on FantasyScore during Tim Hardaway Jr.'s (back) absence. Hardaway could return for this game, but Shved's performance shouldn't go unnoticed. He's a basement flyer with potential for midrange output.

G Rodney Stuckey, Pacers vs. Bucks
$4,200 salary | 8.4% of cap

Stuckey rattled off 55.5 fantasy points Tuesday, and he averaged 28.8 fantasy points in five slates before that. He has been given the green light in the offense, and he's at a nice discount right now.

F Tim Duncan, Spurs vs. Cavaliers
$7,000 salary | 14.0% of cap

The Cavs have been the best against opposing fours over the past five games. Duncan's production has fallen way off since the start of the second half in which the team endured a long road trip to facilitate the annual rodeo. Duncan had a 32.8-point night Tuesday, but that was his high mark over the last six tilts.

C Roy Hibbert, Pacers vs. Bucks
$5,000 salary | 10.0% of cap

Hibbert has been relatively useless in fantasy over the last 10 games with one 45.8-point showing and eight outputs of fewer than 20 fantasy points. He's averaging 14.7 fantasy points over the last week.
