The Bucks beat the Pistons Monday in an so-so night for Detroit big man Andre Drummond, who shot just 6 of 14 from the field.
When asked about the Bucks’ plan for Drummond after the game, Bucks forward Khris Middleton said this: “We just tried to be physical. We know he doesn’t like contact. Once he misses a couple, he is going to get down on himself and start forcing tough shots.”
The comment didn’t go unnoticed to Drummond, who tweeted this Tuesday night:
Middleton’s zinger is kind of a head-scratcher considering it is directed to a player who does most of his damage banging bodies in the vicinity of the basket.
Drummond currently leads the league in rebounds by a wide margin with 17.6 per game. In his NBA career, the Pistons center has taken 73.4 of his shots within three feet from the basket.
