The Suns’ season is a mess, but at least there’s some hope for the future with rookie Devin Booker delivering for the team earlier than expected. The 19-year-old guard is getting green light to shoot with 13.7 attempts on average since the All-Star break and although the percentages have been nothing to call home about, Booker is pretty confident the shots are falling. Against the Grizzlies, he even turned around before the ball went in.
That was a first for Booker. Or at least that’s what he wrote on Twitter.
Booker is averaging 15.6 ppg since the All-Star festivities. That’s the best mark for a Suns rookie in 30 years, according to StatMuse.
