And here we have maybe the biggest surprise, as Dirk edges out LeBron for the top spot… for now. Though maybe it shouldn’t be that much of a surprise as Nowitzki has had a long and legendary career with the Mavs. He “only” made $5 million this past season and is expected to make the same if he returns next season.
