Gasol was drafted by the Lakers but had his rights traded to Memphis in part of a deal that sent his older brother Pau to Los Angeles. The move has worked for Memphis as the younger Gasol has averaged double digits in points in all of his 10 seasons, he’s been a three-time All-Star, and two-time All-NBA.
