ANDREW WIGGINS, MOST IMPROVED PLAYER
The one big knock on Andrew Wiggins since reaching the NBA has been his seeming lack of a motor. After all, a player as physically talented as he is should be an absolute two-way force, capable of dominating on both ends of the floor, but especially on the point-stopping side of things. Unfortunately, as we all know, he doesn’t quite do that yet (not even close, actually), and now, entering his fifth season, it’s reasonable to wonder if he’ll ever flip the switch. However, after all the drama that unfolded this offseason within the Minnesota Timberwolves and specifically with Jimmy Butler, Wiggins has every reason to feel slighted and release his frustration on opponents. We’ll see if it finally happens.
