COLLIN SEXTON, ROOKIE OF THE YEAR

Another first-year guard out of the 2018 draft, Collin Sexton is in a position to make a big impact right out the gate. Sexton’s competitiveness and scoring prowess really shined in his Summer League debut, where he averaged 19.6 points and 3.4 assists over seven games. With a four-time-MVP-sized hole left behind on the Cleveland Cavaliers roster, there’s room for Sexton to help fill it as a rookie and put up impressive numbers. If those numbers are big enough, and he helps the Cavs make a surprising playoff push, there’s certainly a chance for Sexton to finish first on the Rookie of the Year ballot in 2018-19.
