STANLEY JOHNSON, MOST IMPROVED PLAYER
Though he hasn’t shown much since his rookie season, Stanley Johnson still has upside as a stout two-way wing who can defend multiple positions – a premium in today’s NBA. As far as projecting his 2018-19, it would have been promising to see Johnson show any sort of improvement as a three-point shooter last season. Instead, his three-point marks have gotten progressively worse in each of his three years in the league. Even so, with Casey now as the Detroit Pistons’ head coach and a new offensive scheme in place, there’s a chance this breath of fresh air is what Johnson needs to begin living up to his potential.
