A volcanic scorer in the 80’s met the hype in Italy. Theus averaged 27.5 ppg with Varese in 1991-92, including a 50-point effort playing against Oscar Schmidt’s Pavia. Despite that, his team couldn’t avoid relegation. His career ended after signing a one-game contract with Aris to play the Greek Cup final.
