What's the winning percentage of each NBA franchise?

- by

26. CHARLOTTE HORNETS: 44.0 PERCENT

11 winning seasons in 28 years

In 28 seasons, the Charlotte Hornets have never made it past the second round of the playoffs.

27. MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES: 41.5 PERCENT

10 winning seasons in 23 years

The Grizzlies missed the playoffs in each of their first eight seasons. Things have been better recently, though, as the Grit-and-Grind Grizz have reached the postseason in seven of the last eight years.

28. BROOKLYN NETS: 41.4 PERCENT

14 winning seasons in 42 years

The Nets, led by Jason Kidd, reached the Finals in back-to-back years in 2001-02 and 2002-03, but have never been able to win a title. At least not since joining the NBA. (In the ABA, they did win two championships.)

29. LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS: 40.3 PERCENT

13 winning seasons in 48 years

Considering their history, it shouldn’t come as a surprise the Los Angeles Clippers rank this low on this list. Before 2011-12, in their first 41 years of existence, the Clips only made the playoffs seven times.

30. MINNESOTA TIMBERWOLVES: 39.8 PERCENT

Eight winning seasons in 29 years

The Minnesota Timberwolves missed the playoffs in their first seven years as a franchise. They followed that up by making it eight times in a row. Sadly, they then followed that up by missing the postseason for the next 13 years, before breaking the unfortunate streak last season.
