With 6:37 in the second quarter, the New York Knicks were up 28 points on the Brooklyn Nets (26-54).
Yet they managed to lose the game 111-106 to a Nets squad without Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, or Ben Simmons. Rookie Cam Thomas put up a team-high 21 points and came up big in the fourth quarter.
NBA Twitter absolutely destroyed the Knicks for their performance and praised Cam Thomas and the way he stepped up at MSG.

So you mean to tell me the Knicks were up 28 points… against a Nets team that didn't have Durant or Kyrie… got outscored 38-19 in the 4th quarter… to lose.
And that's not the first time something like that has happened this season?!
Boyyy, the Knicks are BACK.

If the Knicks can stretch this lead to 175 points by the start of the 4th quarter – they should be in decent shape

Nets fans were loud in the barc….I mean the garden tonight

James Dolan left his seat after Cam Thomas buried his 30-footer to stick the knife in the Knicks. Can't be happy.
Knicks blew a 28-point lead and broke new ground for rock bottom tonight.
