Charlotte Hornets President of Basketball Operations and General Manager Mitch Kupchak announced today that the team has recalled forward Caleb Martin and forward Jalen McDaniels from the Greensboro Swarm, the team’s NBA G League affiliate. Caleb Martin returns to the Hornets where he has appeared in four games and averaged 1.8 points, 1.3 rebounds and 0.8 assists in 7.0 minutes per game in his rookie campaign. Martin has appeared in 11 games for the Swarm averaging 17.6 points, 5.2 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.3 steals in 33.8 minutes per game. Martin went undrafted in the 2019 NBA Draft and was signed by the Hornets on Oct. 19.

In two games played with the Swarm this season, Martin has averaged 23.0 points, on 55.1% FG shooting, to go along with 6.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.5 steals per game. Martin has appeared in three games for the Hornets averaging 1.7 points, 1.3 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 8.3 minutes per game. Martin went undrafted in the 2019 NBA Draft and was signed by the Hornets on Oct. 19.

Cody Martin has appeared in six games for the Hornets averaging 1.3 points, 2.8 rebounds and 0.7 steals in 10.3 minutes per game in his rookie season. Martin was drafted with the 36th overall selection of the 2019 NBA Draft by the Charlotte Hornets.
Charlotte Hornets President of Basketball Operations & General Manager Mitch Kupchak announced today that the team has signed two-way player Caleb Martin to a multi-year contract. Martin originally signed with the Hornets on July 31, 2019 after going undrafted in the 2019 NBA Draft. The Mocksville, NC native averaged 19.2 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 34.1 minutes per game as a senior in 2018-19 in his senior season at Nevada. The 6-7 forward was named to the 2018-19 All-MWC First Team as well as the MWC All-Defensive Team. Martin led all conference players in three-point field goals (107) and steals (49) in 2018-19.
