China put on a strong comeback effort in the fourth quarter but Brazil managed to hold on for a 73-70 win, second straight prep win over the Chinese squad. Leandro Barbosa led the way with 14 points while Marquinhos Vieira followed with 13 in addition to Rafa Luz and Cristiano Felicio’s ten points each.
Brazil was trailing but took over in the fourth quarter and logged a 90-84 win against China. Vitor Benite led the way with 23 points on 8-10 shooting (4-6 triples) followed by Leandro Barbosa’s 19 and Cristiano Felicio’s 16 points. The latter also grabbed eight boards while Bruno Caboclo logged 13 points and nine rebounds.
Brazil will travel to China having a veteran team which can’t be underestimated.
