In (Josh) Magette’s case, they involve getting on a plane to Las Vegas in a little less than two weeks to take part in the NBA summer league with the Memphis Grizzlies from July 13-22. He’s been invited to take part in the practices leading up to the annual preseason showcase, and, if he does what he usually does, could very well see game action. “It’s crazy to think about, really,” Magette said. “To sit back and put everything in perspective, I never thought in a million years I’d be playing in the NBA summer league. Especially four years ago.”
