Hawks waive Nene
Bobby Marks: Atlanta makes it official and has waived Nene. They will incur a $2.6M cap hit this season. His $2.7M salary for 2020/21 would have been guaranteed if he was not waived by Feb. 15.

Adrian Wojnarowski: Atlanta is waiving Chandler Parsons and his expiring $25.1M contract to create roster space to complete four-team trade, league sources tell ESPN.
Bobby Marks: The Clint Capela $14.9M cap hit ranks no. 15 in salary for a starting salary. He is under contract through 2022-23. Nene has a $2.6M cap hit this season. He has a $2.7M non-guaranteed contract that becomes guaranteed on 2/15.
