Injured Zhaire Smith out for the season
Derek Bodner: Philadelphia 76ers wing Zhaire Smith has a bone bruise in his left knee, per source. He will not travel to Orlando. Smith began experiencing pain prior to the Sixers resuming workouts last week, and he started treatment immediately. He is expected to make a full recovery.
Also, Sixers guard Zhaire Smith was being mentioned in possible packages for Pistons guard Derrick Rose, an Eastern Conference league executive said.
Keith Pompey: Zhaire Smith (ankle) is available tonight vs. #GoldenStateWarriors. Joel Embiid (hand) still listed as questionable. He will meet with his hand specialist before the game.
