Jimmer Fredette is expected to make his debut with the Westchester Knicks of the NBA Development League on Monday night. Westchester took the former college player of the year with the No. 2 pick this year, but he was then signed by the New Orleans Pelicans and played four games for them before being waived on Nov. 19.
Chris Reichert: Can confirm, the Reno Bighorns have acquired David Stockton as returning player and he will be available tonight vs Idaho. The Bighorns now have an abundance of PGs with Stockton, Sundiata Gaines & Cliff Hammonds #NBADL
Ian Begley: Unless he signs as a free agent elsewhere, he's headed back to the Knicks' D-League team ... RT: SportCenter: Pelicans waive Jimmer Fredette. He appeared in 50 games last season, averaging 3.6 PPG and 1.2 APG in 10.2 Mins PG.
The Delaware 87ers today announced the team has re-acquired Sean Kilpatrick as a returning player. Kilpatrick will be active for tonight’s game against the Canton Charge.
Adam Johnson: The Los Angeles D-Fenders have acquired Justin Harper, 32nd pick of 2011 NBA Draft the team announced today.
Adam Johnson: Former Detroit Piston Cartier Martin has signed D-League contract and is eligible for Saturday's draft, league source tells D-League Digest.
After being waived by the Kings earlier in the month, sources have confirmed that Ole Miss sharpshooter Marshall Henderson will in fact join the Bighorns for this season. Earlier reports had him joining the team over the weekend, but the 25-year-old guard asked and received an extension on his timeframe to make a decision.
Rookie Vince Hunter has also agreed to join the Bighorns. The 6-foot-8, 208-pound forward averaged 14.9 points and 9.2 rebounds per game as a sophomore at UTEP, but he went unselected in the NBA Draft in June. He spent training camp with the Kings in October, playing a total of two minutes.
Sources have confirmed to CSNBayArea.com that David Stockton will not return to Reno, although a door remains slightly open. The son of NBA legend John Stockton, David averaged 20.1 points and 9.4 assists per game for Reno a season ago. His stellar play earned him multiple call-ups to the Kings, but with three point guards on a maxed out 15 man roster, his potential for another run in Sacramento is a long shot.
Stockton will explore other options internationally, but if he decides to return to the D-League, the Bighorns would welcome him back with open arms.
Orazio Cauchi: Thanasis Antetokounmpo will play again for @wcknicks, his agency announced. #DLeague
Adam Johnson: GSW training camp cut Jarell Eddie will rejoin the Austin Spurs, his agent confirms with D-League Digest.
Jorge Castillo: Not sure if this is out there but Toure’ Murry will play for the Texas Legends in the D-League, per source.
Jody Genessy: ICYMI, the Jazz signed guards Phil Pressey and Eric Atkins to obtain their D-League rights for Idaho. They will be waived by tomorrow night.
Jody Genessy: Like E.J. Singler, the Phil Pressey signing is a move to secure his D-League rights. The Jazz are filling out their D-League affiliate's roster in Idaho. More signings are to come for the Stampede.
Vincent Ellis: #Pistons announce signing of UConn PG Ryan Boatwright. Source says plan is to sign, waive and then assign to Grand Rapids.
Eric Pincus: I hear Michael Frazier will sign a D-League contract in new day or so - expecting to become a Lakers affiliate player with D-Fenders
Ryan McDonald: As expected, the Jazz have waived E.J. Singler. We should see him on the Idaho Stampede roster this season
James Ham: The Sacramento Kings have waived point guard David Stockton. He is definitely a candidate for the Reno Bighorns.
Adam Johnson: Phoenix Suns training camp invite Terrico White will play for their D-League affiliate the Bakersfield Jam, source tells D-League Digest.

LeBron James retirement talk due to fatigue, sweep frustration and reminder to Lakers' front office that title window is closing?

I haven’t spoken to anyone who thinks LeBron James is retiring. The biggest reasons given to me for his comments after Game 4: fatigue from the season, frustration with getting swept and a reminder to the front office that the Lakers’ title window is closing, keeping a sense of urgency in the foreground.

Austin Reaves to get bigger offers than four-year, $52 million from Lakers?

The Lakers’ open stance about matching offers for the two could end up saving the team money, particularly with Reaves. After a terrific postseason debut, teams with cap space don’t have much optimism they’ll be able to pry him free, which means the Lakers’ four-year, $52 million-ish max offer might be the most he gets. People around the league, though, seem to think Reaves is worth more, but the rules prohibit the Lakers from giving it to him unless they’re matching another team’s offer.

Still a chance D'Angelo Russell re-signs with Lakers on team-friendly deal?

D’Angelo Russell’s future with the Lakers is fair less certain. Sign-and-trade possibilities exist — the Lakers have endlessly been tied with Kyrie Irving, and Fred VanVleet’s name has been mentioned since even before he joined Klutch Sports, though the Lakers could again be in a position where they’d be forced to part with one or more draft picks in a deal. Russell’s postseason struggles were probably a little overblown after a disastrous Western Conference finals, but expect the Lakers to look at upgrade options. There’s still a chance Russell returns on a good deal and the Lakers actually get the continuity they’ve spoken about building.
