Nick Friedell: Bulls say Doug McDermott (concussion protocol) has been cleared to play Friday night vs. New York Knicks. http://es.pn/2f2xInJ
Nick Friedell: Bulls are awaiting MRI results on Michael Carter-Williams' sprained left knee. Doug McDermott is in the league's concussion protocol -- but Bulls coach Fred Hoiberg is hopeful McDermott will be able to play Wednesday vs. Boston.
Doug McDermott underwent an MRI on his injured right knee Tuesday, and the Bulls listed the second-year forward as day to day with a strain. McDermott had a portion of his right meniscus removed in December 2014. There is no plan for a second surgery. "It's not in the joint," coach Fred Hoiberg said when asked about the possibility of a scope.
KC Johnson: Bulls PR said McDermott has a strained right knee, not a sprain. Considered day-to-day for now.

“One of the best players to ever play the game,’’ Antetokounmpo said after the Bucks fell into a 3-2 hole by blowing a 17-point lead. “He’s the best player in the world right now. We got to beat him as a team and make him make tough shots. And hopefully he’s going to miss. If coach wants to double him, we’ll double him”
Malika Andrews: Steve Nash said it “probably wasn’t ideal” for Kevin Durant to play all 48 minutes, adding: “but if he didn’t play 48, we probably weren’t winning tonight…. he was unbelievable to be able to handle that load.”
