Illawarra Hawks recruit Emmett Naar will be heading to the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, linking up with the Phoenix Suns for the off-season showcase. Naar will team up with the #1 pick from the 2018 draft, Deandre Ayton, as the Suns open up their Summer League campaign against the Dallas Mavericks on July 6, followed by games against Sacramento and Orlando.

A few weeks ago, videos began surfacing of Fultz working out with renowned personal trainer Drew Hanlen, who is well-known for his extensive work with NBA stars such as Bradley Beal, Jayson Tatum, Joel Embiid and many others. Hanlen recently gave an update on Fultz’s progress when talking to Daniel Schmidt of The Talking Schmidt Podcast. “We’ve been working hard every day, working on just rewiring his body and getting kind of a smooth stroke back into his shot,” Hanlen told Schmidt. “We’re way ahead of pace where I thought we were going to be. I thought it was going to take me at least six weeks before we had kind of a serviceable jump shot. We’ve already started to shoot with a jump in week two. “It’s not perfect yet, but I think that by the end of the summer it will be perfect. He’ll be back rolling and he’ll show people why he was the No. 1 pick,” Hanlen said. “So far the program is going well and he’s finding some success with his new shooting motion.”
