Rockets guard James Harden said he'll play in Thursday's game against the Blazers with a jammed left wrist. Harden hurt the wrist March 18 when he took a nasty spill at Denver. Mark Berman: James Harden took a hard hit again on his sore left wrist and he's got a wrap on it again. Harden continues to play through the injury.
Calvin Watkins: Rockets guard James Harden was wearing a black wrap on his left wrist during Monday's shootaround. Harden took a hard fall in Saturday's victory over the Nuggets but recorded a triple-double. When asked if he hurt the wrist Harden replied, "No, I just want it to look good."
Adam Wexler: D'Antoni said Harden is fine, expected to play Sun. vs Cavs. Obviously Harden returned to last night's game after ankle injury. #Rockets
Though Rockets guard James Harden said he would need to test his sprained left ankle one more time, Rockets coach J.B. Bickerstaff said that after watching Harden at shootaround he was optimistic Harden would be able to play tonight against the Oklahoma CIty Thunder. "He looked good," Bickerstaff said. "Unless something crazy happens between now and game time, he should be ready to go."
Harden left his status as "We'll see." "Feel better than I did yesterday," Harden said. "Every day has been improving and getting better. I've been rehabbing and getting treatment every single day, icing it, just doing the things that hopefully will put me in position to play tonight. "I feel good I'll play. If I feel all right, I'll play."
