Adrian Wojnarowski: The Knicks are meeting with David Blatt in Europe next week on head coaching job, and plan also to interview Spurs assistant coach James Borrego, league sources tell me and @Ian Begley.
Blatt, who coached in Turkey this season, confirmed to the Israeli newspaper Haaretz that he will be interviewing with the Knicks. The former Cavaliers coach has a relationship with Mills; the two played together at Princeton and remain friends.
On ESPN, @Lisa Salters is interviewing George Hill on-court before Cavs-Pacers. Asks him what his role is on this Cavs team; he says “I don’t know, I’m still trying to figure it out.” Says for tonight, if team focuses on defense, offense will follow.
Will Guillory: Interesting note from today: Rajon Rondo said the Pels had the best Big 3 in the NBA before Boogie got hurt: “At a point, right before Cuz got hurt, that was my argument. Hands down, we had the best Big 3.”

A day after making his playoff debut, Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid said he is ‘built for’ postseason basketball. “I feel like I’m one of the most physical players in the league – I love contact, I love attacking, I love going to the free-throw line,” Embiid said on Friday after scoring 23 points in the Sixers’ Game 3 win over the Miami Heat a night earlier.
Embiid felt ‘sore’ on Friday but said that he felt no discomfort in his face at the site of the orbital bone fracture. “I need about five massages today. It hurts,” Embiid said, drawing laughs from reporters. “But it’s the NBA. I’m trying to get back in the groove.”
