The New York Knicks are expected to get a first-hand look at two of the top shooters in the NBA draft in the coming days. The club has scheduled private workouts with Kentucky’s Malik Monk and Duke’s Luke Kennard, sources with knowledge of the Knicks’ workout schedule told ESPN.
More on Draft Workouts
Ian Begley: Wisconsin star Bronson Koenig is scheduled to work out for the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday, per league sources. Koenig heads to a workout for the Houston Rockets after the Clippers' workout, sources say. Koenig is Wisconsin's all-time leader in made 3-pointers and the 6-4 combo guard may be on the radar for teams with a late second-round pick. He's had workouts for several NBA teams leading up to the draft.
As they continue to prepare for the 2017 NBA Draft on June 22, the Portland Trail Blazers are hosting Kentucky forward Bam Adebayo, Florida State guard Dwayne Bacon, Oregon guard/forward Dillon Brooks, Adelaide 36ers guard/forward Terrance Ferguson, Wisconsin forward Nigel Hayes and Maryland guard Melo Trimble for a pre-draft workout at their practice facility in Tualatin. Saturday's workout is the fourth of six scheduled workouts. The Trail Blazers currently own the 15th, 20th and 26th picks.

The following is a list of scheduled attendees for the Sacramento Kings sixth Pre-Draft workout, which will take place at the Kings Practice Facility on June 10, 2017: Joe Rahon, Milton Doyle, Semi Ojeleye, Rashawn Thomas, Eric Mika and Matt Williams.
Jefferson, a senior, averaged 10.9 points for the Blue Devils last season and just under 30 minutes. Others auditioning for the Hornets Saturday: Antonio Blakeney from Louisiana State; Torian Graham from Arizona State; Kyle Kuzma from Utah; Derrick Walton, Jr. from Michigan; and Nigel Williams-Goss from Gonzaga.
“Teams have seen me play 40 games in college,” Bell said. “They know what kind of player I am. I’m not looking to score most of the time.” That attitude – along with freakish athletic ability – is why the 6-foot-9 Bell is a viable candidate for the Suns with the first of their two second-round picks (No. 32 overall). The Suns have scorers. But they ranked last in opponents’ points allowed last year (113.3) and 26th in opponents’ field-goal percentage (46.9)
Among the five other players who worked out: Former Phoenix Brophy Prep star Tim Kempton Jr., a Lehigh product and son of Suns radio color analyst Tim Kempton. Also working out: French guard Mathias Lessort, Miami guard Davon Reed, New Mexico forward Tim Williams and Syracuse guard Andrew White III.
Tom Moore: Josh Jackson agent BJ Armstrong on visiting #Sixers: 'We clearly have interest. I would venture 2 say we'll get something there.'
Jackson worked out for the Lakers in Sacramento on Thursday, but has no other visits scheduled yet. Armstrong expects more details to be firmed up in the next three to five days.
The Kings will host two groups on Saturday, starting with the following six players: Joe Rahon (G – 6’2” 195 lbs.) Saint Mary’s Milton Doyle (G – 6’3” 178 lbs.) Loyola Semi Ojeleye (F – 6’5” 241 lbs.) SMU Matt Williams (G – 6’5” 220 lbs.) Central Florida RaShawn Thomas (F – 6’6” 233 lbs.) Texas A&M Corpus Christi Eric Mika (C – 6’10” 233 lbs.) BYU
Sacramento will host 6-foot-11 Jarrett Allen in the team’s second workout of the day. The freshman out of Texas boasts a 7-foot-5 wingspan and is expected to go somewhere between 10 and 20 in the first round
The Knicks have scheduled a workout with Duke shooting guard Luke Kennard, sources with knowledge the team's workout schedule told ESPN.
Ailene Voisin: Projected overall No.1 draft pick Markelle Fultz still visiting Sacramento soon to meet with Kings officials, but no workout is planned.
Mike Bresnahan: NC State PG Dennis Smith among the six players working out Sunday for Lakers. Syracuse PF Tyler Lydon will also be there.
Brad Turner: Lakers predraft workouts for Sunday: Wesley Alves da Silva, Milton Doyle, Jeremy Hollowell, Tyler Lydon, Dennis Smith Jr., Matt Thomas
The Knicks are scheduled to workout Kentucky's Malik Monk early next week, sources with the knowledge of the team's workout schedule told ESPN. Monk, one of the top guards in the draft, also has worked out for the Phoenix Suns and Orlando Magic.
Tyler Dorsey on Friday completed his eighth predraft workout with four more still ahead of him. He also went through two days of athletic testing and scrimmaging at the draft combine in Chicago in May. By the time the draft rolls around, Dorsey will have met with more than half the teams in the league.
He worked out for the Portland Trail Blazers at their practice facility in Tualatin on Friday. Two days earlier he was in New Jersey, working out for the Philadelphia 76ers.
Chris Vivlamore: Kansas guard Frank Mason's workout with the Hawks was today.
Ryan McDonald: Tomorrow's Jazz workout is a great group
Brett Dawson: According to his Instagram, Oklahoma State point guard Jawun Evans worked out for the Thunder.
Lonzo Ball was fine. He was humble and respectful in conversation over meals. He shot the ball well on the court. He very well might be the Los Angeles Lakers’ draft pick in two weeks’ time. Yet Ball also didn’t blow the Lakers away or seal any deal in the time he spent with their officials Tuesday and Wednesday, according to sources.
Jason Jones: I'm told my multiple sources Markelle Fultz will not visit the Kings on Sunday. A visit is possible, but it's not this weekend.

Ian Begley: UCLA's Isaac Hamilton was among a group of players working out for the Knicks on Wednesday, per league sources. Hamilton, a 6-5 shooting guard, averaged 14.1 points in 30 minutes per game as a senior for the Bruins. The Knicks have two second-round picks (44 and 58) and have been working out several potential second rounders. Hamilton certainly fits the mold of the tall guard that Phil Jackson has shown a preference for in the past. New York also worked out Washington State senior guard Ike Iroegbu on Tuesday, a source confirmed. Iroegbu is an athletic 6-2 guard who is known as a strong defender, something the Knicks need. His workout was first reported by the New York Post.
Gary Washburn: Hearing the Markelle Fultz workout with the #Celtics went very well -- as expected. #NBAdraft2017
North Carolina State's Dennis Smith Jr. was expected to work out for the Knicks on Wednesday but the workout did not take place, per sources familiar with the matter. It is unclear why Smith Jr. did not work out for the Knicks but he was in New York and, according to a report published by ZagsBlog, met with team president Phil Jackson while in town. It's a bit odd for Smith Jr. not to work out for the Knicks while in New York.
The Lakers plan to host an individual workout for former Kentucky guard De’Aaron Fox on June 13, according to league sources familiar with the situation. After working out last week with the Sacramento Kings, Fox also plans to work out with the Philadelphia 76ers at some point the following weekend (June 16-18).

Mike Bresnahan: Ball will come to the Laker training facility Wednesday for an individual workout. The Lakers then see Jackson on Thursday + Fox next week.
The Phoenix Suns are a team who once decided against drafting Kawhi Leonard because he sweated too much in their interview. Which seems bad, but not as bad as it would be to run the workout the team apparently makes every draft prospect go through. According to a video posted on Twitter on Tuesday, the Suns make draft prospects run a drill every season that involves trying to see how many times they can traverse the length of the floor in three minutes.
Lakers head coach Luke Walton joined the Jim Rome Show on Tuesday ahead of the Lonzo workout. He said that while LaVar won’t be allowed at the workout, he’s welcomed to attend the Tuesday night dinner.
Luke Walton: “Absolutely. If he wanted to come to the dinner. I think the workout is something that we’ll keep the doors closed on, but the dinner, I think he would definitely make the dinner more entertaining. He’s definitely welcomed to join us for that one.”

Other players on their radar include guards Malik Monk and Frank Ntilikina, per sources. The Knicks haven't yet worked out Ntilikina and Monk, but are expected to. The 76ers need to add shooters. Tyler Dorsey will audition for one of those roles Wednesday. That’s when the former Oregon shooting guard will participate in the Sixers predraft workout at the team’s practice facility.
Scott Howard-Cooper: De’Aaron Fox getting into his visits. Sacramento (5) today, scheduled for Phoenix (4) later in week, Lakers (2) and Philly (3) next week.
