Jason Jones: The Kings have picked up the fourth-year option on Marvin Bagley III, according to league sources. Bagley, the second overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, will earn $11.3 million next season. He’s looking to bounce back after being limited to 13 games last season due to injuries.
Jaylen Brown is one of the most politically outspoken athletes in the NBA, and now he’s turning his attention to his alma mater. The Boston Celtics wing tweeted a public endorsement of the campaign to change the name of Wheeler High School in Marietta, Georgia, where he won a state championship before continuing his career at Cal.

Michael Scotto: The question I think a lot of people are monitoring around the league is where are those extension talks with John Collins and the Hawks? John is a guy that I know other teams around the league have monitored closely because they are enamored with his talent. If a guy like that became available, he would command a lot in trade talks.
