Hornets looking to trade Kelly Oubre Jr.?

According to an anonymous Eastern Conference executive who spoke with Sean Deveney of Heavy.com, the Charlotte Hornets could look to trade former Warrior Kelly Oubre Jr. during the upcoming season. He was mentioned as a potential trade target for the Chicago Bulls.
“Charlotte is one other team that has looked for a big guy but they’re not desperate to do it. If you’re Chicago and you could get Gordon Hayward in a deal like that, I think you give that a go even with the injury stuff. But more likely, you’re looking at Mason Plumlee and someone like Kelly Oubre. The Bulls gave up two picks for Vuc, they’re going to want something in return if they trade him. They would much rather just bring him back, maybe even extend him, then see if he plays better,” the executive noted.

The EuroLeague star Mike James addressed the backlash about his comments over the NBA champion Stephen Curry. In the recent URBONUS podcast episode, James said that he has no bad feelings about Steph, and many took his words out of context.
“I think I said a lot of controversial things in general because I think outside the box. But for some reason, every time I mention Steph Curry, everybody gets mad, and everybody assumes I don’t like him,” James smiled. “But I think he’s amazing. To be honest, he changed basketball. Like seven years ago, everybody started shooting threes and playing small ball. Not only because of him. Like 75% of him, and then like the other 25% the Warriors. I don’t have a problem with him,” James told on the BasketNews show.
James also explained his statement on his Twitter profile when his comment made headlines all over US media and social media platforms, focusing on Curry being called “one-dimensional”. “I don’t ever remember saying he’s one-dimensional. I said something like, ‘how he gets his stuff off sometimes it can be one-dimensional.’ That’s like me saying ‘when she wears her hair up sometimes she ugly,’ and everybody saying ‘oh, he thinks she is ugly,'” James explained.

Nick dePaula: 10 days after the NBA Finals, @SC30inc filed trademark paperwork for the phrase “Night Night” — to be used, as expected, in footwear & apparel. The filing also could extend to as many as 35 product categories, like bedding, glassware, boxing equipment & alcoholic beverages.

The Memphis Grizzlies are far removed from the days of Ja Morant going on Instagram Live campaigning for more ESPN games. Those days were just six months ago, but a 56-win season, an ESPN All-Access special and one of the league’s most exciting players has the Grizzlies as one of the most featured teams on ESPN this upcoming season.
